Program the days of the week by pressing WEEK until you get the days you want the timer working.
Program your time you want it to come ON, now click Auto/ON/OFF so your display goes to ON, click it once more back to AUTO.
Program your time you want it to go OFF, now click Auto/ON/OFF so your display goes to OFF, click it once more back to AUTO.
Plug in, plug in your appliance to it.
Program your time you want it to come ON, now click Auto/ON/OFF so your display goes to ON, click it once more back to AUTO.
Program your time you want it to go OFF, now click Auto/ON/OFF so your display goes to OFF, click it once more back to AUTO.
Plug in, plug in your appliance to it.

Oh yeah, also I've seen this same exact timer made by sooo many different companies. Don't pay $20 from DH or for a Hydrofarm brand, Harbor Freight sells this exact timer for about 7 bucks, and I'm sure it could be had online for about the same or a little more.

Any help with how to set this timer to use the AM-PM option? My old trusty mechanical timer just died and would like to make this new digital timer readable without having to think to much. 
This is not labeled as what u r lookin for but it is, hope this helps!

This Chinc POS is sold under several brand model names..they are CRAP, not dependable. Better off going with the cheap manual timers sold at Walmart. However if you already are stuck with this thing then the above link for the pet store is far more detailed then the instructions that came with the one I bought at a hydro store..the instructions that came with mine was less than 125 words...I guess they think that those who dance with Mary Jane are too

I've got the FD60-U5, have spent like 6 hours even with the instructions trying to get this fucker to work (still not sure I'm theere), I'll leave these here for anyone that happens to stumble upon this fucking thing. I dunno if the instructions were written by an idiot or I'm an idiot but shit absurd..
