Have you guys seen the enigma strain?
Once the spawn is colonized you’re good. You could mix the tub up with bare hands if you wanted. It’s ok to open the tubs to look at them occasionally also, I see lots of people trying to take pictures through the condensation covered walls cuz they’re afraid to take the lid off.

Almost to full colonization. Used my own rye and millet mix to inoculate a syringe of jedi mind fuck spores that was purchased from michiganmyco about a yr ago. Surprised they're still viable. Just kept the syringes in the fridge n kinda forgot about them. Inoculated the grain jars on 12/26, spawned the sub on 1/15. Still have a little while yet, but should have fruit in under a month if all goes well. Never grew this strain, only golden teachers. Anybody have experience with the j.m.f.? I've heard it's just a golden teacher sub-variety...

Lots of mutants will form non-standard fruit clumps. (My favorite brand of fruit clumps.) MagicMyco has several strain fusions that lead to brains, coral... carpets of fungal mass.

so is about 2 to 2.5 months about right from start to finish if everything goes to plan? we're going away mid march and i think it's too late to start them now??
I’d say 5-7 weeks starting from spore would be a good average.
you could start now and if they don’t colonize soon enough to fruit before you leave you can throw them in the fridge til you get back.
If you’ll be gone three weeks or less you could spawn right before you leave and come back to pins/harvest also.

I tried smoking amanitas.. and even a huge bong rip of powdered up liberty caps over 20 years ago, and never got a lung infucktion. Maybe I got lucky or something? I remember reading about smoking shrooms somewhere, way back then..

I also remember dialing up to aol 2.0 on a 28k modem, and learning to extract the "bananadine" out of banana peels, back in like 95. The Anarchist cookbook version 5, or something.. Not sure which made me gag more, haha.

Back in early '22, I decided to try to grow some shrooms just for shits and giggles. Watched about 5 hours of YouTube how-to videos and decided to just wing it beyond that. Being a broke-ass, I set aside about $125 and decided to see if I could pull of a low-budget grow. Got 2 "supercharged" syringes from SporeStore (Golden Teacher and B+), 3 two-pound all-in-one grow bags from Amazon, six 12qt Sterilite tubs, micropore tape, etc,etc. Assumed I'd fail miserably, since I'm in a desert and we have 5 dogs constantly in and out of the house. Was anal about wiping everything down with Isopropyl, but not much I could do about the sand and dust swirling everywhere. It turned into a ridiculous success. Had three 12qt dub-tubs and got at least 3 good flushes from each. Ended up with well over a QP dried. Here's the kicker; turns out I don't really like shrooms anymore. Got a huge baggie of them in my freezer and no apparent interest in tripping. Seem to have lost a bunch of pics, but here are the few decent ones I could find.

i love shrooms but haven't had any since the 80s. i tried to grow them a couple years ago. three attempts, three failures. i just want a nice mello, giggly high. we liked that you could get a great high and be down and feeling fine in a few hours. unlike acid where you'd feel shitty and spaced out (cheesy) the next day.
