Alright I got 250ish gallons of soil that I need to mix.. I have to do indoors because I live in the city..

Also I need to know how much dolomite lime and feed to mix..

Ok I got a 10k grow I am about to get ready for.. this is what I bought for my soil mix.... 6-64quart bags of miracle grow moisture control..
1 bale of 3 cu ft Premier Peat moss, 10-5KG cocotek pith 2-2cu ft of Coco chips..

I use about 2/3 of a cup of dolomitic lime per 5 gallon pot of Sunshine #4, which a peat media. But mine is Sunshine only no other stuff so I don't know if that effects the ratio. As far as mixing goes, yup, a tarp on the garage floor.

Sent from Northern Colorado.

Rent a cement mixer from the hardware store. Mix and layout on a tarp and then fill pots as needed.

This sounds the best.

If you're unsure if each individual batch is the same as the next then you could just keep mixing batches with batches.

Batches on batches on batches lol

But yeah. When i mixed mine it was on a tarp in basement. I had at least 100gallons, and it took up a 8x8 space for two months. 250gal sounds like so much in an indoor space, unless you break it up into bits...

Good luck, let us know what you do! I might need to mix another 100 gallons or 2...

For real homie? Mg and moisture control at thato_O

Way back in the day I used mg soil and I can tell you it is acidic, so you're gonna need a fair amount of lime in there. It's also dense as fuck, if you need 250 gal then at least 125 gal of it should be pearlite.

After you get it mixed up take a party cup and poke holes in the bottom then set it in another party cup. Fill it half way with your mix and run plain neutral(PH@7) water through it, but just enough to get a little run off. Then test the PH of the run off. That should let you know if you've got enough lime in there.
I'm not big on testing run off normally but when mixing up some "iffy" soil I would like to know I'm at least in the ball park.

You know you're inviting bugs in your grow room right? Spider mites in a 10k garden could prove costly...

I use to work at Fafard google it y'all. .thank you but I know what I am doing.. this is a quick 3 month and done run.. I usually re-use and do no-tills. But all this will be thrown away at the end.... Yall are tripping MGMC is just a coco, peat, and bark mix... and I mixed it with 14 bales of cococ... lo

The only reason I use the MGMC is as a filler so it wasn't straight coco...and added FF 5-5-5 all purpose dry , I used half the 4lb bag and one bottle of Plant success. 3-1-2

Bathtub ! Make sure drain is well covered after mixing you can vacum up any remaining residue then cut shower on and clean......or a kiddie pool but back in the day before kids and animals were a part of our life there was no reason to own a kiddie pool. I used the tub......the wife didn't care to much for it .
Aahh the good ole days !

This will me my first drip system... the room is a 12x12. Im hanging 4 more lights to room. So this will be a 8K room in total... seal with co2... at first I will be burning all the ballast at 500 watts or 50% first week of veg then 75% second week then 100 for the 3rd week of veg... then I will only be burning 6K at in 8K room.. every three hours a 2k row will turn off..
