Hey Dank, i didn't intend it to be loaded, but threads have a life of their own, and of course people are entitled to take it however they wish. I just happen to like cheek and sarcasm, and cc did both well; keeps folk on their toes.
 
i uhm... don't even notice this person is gone lol. no offense or anything- just never stood out to me.
 
Well guys, just for now i've got my neutral head on. There's no-one i find entirely odious on riu, i think ccodiane was many things, one of them was funny. I like the diversity of opinion here, and welcome the opportunity to examine my own views, defend positions i'm happy with, the occasional bit of hat munching. If ccodiane ain't comin' back, maybe Elbarto would be kind enough to give him a fitting pictoral send off, or anybody else for that matter.

I miss cc a lot. The guy absoultly cracked me up. I know the libbies on the site didn't like him much, but what the hay ... libbies miss a lot of humor that's presented on this site. :roll:

CC was great at the one-liners. Kind of like "tips," except cc was funny. :bigjoint:

Hey Vi, i would consider myself a left leaning man in most respects, but one who ultimately feels pretty fucked off with politics as a whole. I've learnt a great deal from the folks on riu about many things{inveterate lurker that i am}, politics aside, wit is what does it for me. That's what i miss about cc. Don't get me wrong, i'm not going to hang the stars and stripes the right way up or cancel my subscription to the utne reader, just having a wee frolick in the neccessity of the advesary. Something the world truly needs..difference of opinion.

Tips is a funny guy no doubt, and he has a serious stash and i think the girls like him. Or maybe that's my gay head talkin'.:mrgreen:
 
CC was very good with the sarcastic wit, no doubt, But he had this superior outlook that made him extremely caustic to, well, liberals. He must have had some mental problems, well more than most, as he listened to that Mark Levin show all day long. That in itself was reason to question his mental stability, but yes, he had some wit, that I agree with.
 
I believe I've mentioned to you knuckleheads before that "he" was a she.

And I don't miss her at all. One fewer bitter wing-nut troll constantly trying to stir shit, as far as I'm concerned.

I think he was a dude, Barto, He had in his signature for a while: "American conservative man" I had wondered before my self and even questioned him, which in his mystic way he refused to comment on but he left that in his signature for some time.

Regardless of his methods he was good at stirring up an argument, which usually turned into a discussion, or a name calling session depending on who got involved.

Hey Med, says a lot about you that you can give credit where it's due. That's all i was getting at with this thread. We all got to live together, we all choose to play here, and there are some people who have nothing but hate to offer. I like it here 'cause folk get riled up, go looking for information to substantiate their views, and have them out. The guy made it fun, that's all i'm saying.:neutral:

Politics forum became a tad bit more dull without the CC stirring up the libbies
 
I just think it's regrettable that the only satisfaction some folks seem to get is from "stirring up" other people, usually with simple-minded name calling or posting unsubstantiated bullshit from the likes of Rush or Coulter, neither of whom would know a fact if one bit them on the arse.

Of course when you have no evidence to support your beliefs, but you still can't resist the urge to express yourself, I guess your options are pretty limited.

I agree. He also had a sig that said "Loving women since 1979." Which means he was a dude, or a self-loathing lesbian.

I enjoyed cc, but lost a lot of respect after he was banned with the 30-something attempts to infiltrate the site.

Do you remember when cc and I got into that dust-up because I had the temerity to agree with YOU? Heaven forbid!
 
CC is a dude. He's married and is planning a trip to the West Coast this coming summer. He told me via PM that he would like to stop by with his family for a get together at my place.

So that should end the controversy. :lol:
