One of the 2 dogs at my house ( one I'm long term sitting whose never been to my place on 4th of july)
is really spazzing out right now ..

I've had this strange feeling all day that something was off, kinda a scared 'something is gonna happen' vibe in the back of my head..

Now when this dog started acting up, wandering around crying, going places she knows she's not allowed.. I got increasingly paranoid as I have always heard those myths that dogs can sense things and warn people..

My question is, do you think its just 4th of july ruckus she is sensing? My other dog seems to be just fine.

The pup in question is a rather skittish coon hound if that helps..

Hoping for some advice to clear my paranoid head..

That is weird...

My dog doesn't like the sound. Funny cause she sleeps through lightning storms.

We went to a fireworks display without her tonight and when we returned we found her in our pitch black bathroom curled up in a bathtub shaking.

The dog can probably hear fire works farther away than you can... He's probably just afraid of the sounds..
