Any Washington Patients Out There?

I got my Card from CBR the April before last. And renewed it again last month. (May 2010) the Dr is awesome, the staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is great. They also have forms for voters on different Bills, networking meetings, the "legal team" really goes out of their way to make sure you get the best representation they can provide. I was a bit sceptical at first, but I've been pulled over a couple times and let go. So they must be reputable. Both officers had dealt with the company before. Also... my probation officer in Whittman County recognized it and stopped giving me urin screens! (Which saved so much money) I've seen cropped several times and have had the best time growing and learning. If you have an ailment or affliction that causes you to change your lifestyle... you need the card. Was def the best 200 dollars I ever invested. And now, all my medicine is free!

Ahh sounds nice. So do I just call them and set up an appointment to bring in the release form then leave and come back or what?

Just wanted to chime in from Seattle. CBR is the place to go for your MMJ Green Card. I found a strain that kills the pain like no other meds I have seen. Keep your eye open for Twisted, it has a nice fruity taste and smell, dense fat buds, short and stalky, only needs 60 days flowering. I love this BUD. Even as a clone you can smell the fruity flavor.

I just got my medical paperwork from CBR in Spokane a few weeks back, I am new to the site and started my first grow about a week ago. I gotta say that Dr. is awesome he is definitely committed to getting things changed in our government, I found his website here.

YES... grow at your gf's house... you'll be good up to 15 plants.. just fill out a "designated provider" form, copy your documentation, hers & your WA state ID & hang that shit on the wall.. it's that simple... good luck bro..

Oak Harbor over here! Represent! Hey roachwagon you need to check out Island Horticulture in Anacortes (360) 293-0000. They have all the shit you need to grow and they will help you with any grow questions and they have great prices! The best thing is that they wont tell the cops!

Not true. I thought so too but I was flipping through the Inlander weekly paper and saw two other clinics advertising in there. I don't remember the names or where they were though because I already have my card.

CBR took good care of me.

THCF does Spokane clinics,They were ok at best. A local clinic here is Tri Cities works with Dr Said and I would almost say it's worth the trip, if you are really disabled and going to suffer for the next 20 years with your condition, I would recommend travelling here. If 'you qualify' you can get a recommendation that does not expire. I've heard ok things about CBR but this clinic is the only one I know of on this side of the mountains that answers their phone 24/7

Thanks for the tip, I might go there next year. I hate the BS clinics that charge a annual renewal like CBR.

No problem. I forgot to mention the clinic information. They are called Canna 4 Life and in Kennewick off Clearwater. HERE'S THEIR WEBSITE

Be sure to tell them I said hello.


**EDIT** The website says 190 is the fee. That is for a 1 year. If you qualify for the unexpired, it's 250. Beats the hell outta 200/yr. They do a payment plan thing. You pay so much down, for one thats good for a few months and when you pay it off, you get the permanent one.

Dr. Said also works with CBR Medical in spokane but his practice is out of the ephrata area

I went to Dr. Cynthia Stoddard in Seattle. Her office is across from Red Burger. Very nice doctor, welcoming staff, answered all questions and set me up with my permit. For most doctors, you need two "Chart notes" regarding your qualifying condition. I submitted my MRI reports and that was enough, requested them from the imaging department where I had them done, they were faxed, so my regular doctors are not involved.
I am more comfortable with a doctor whose reputation is not solely based around marijuana permits, and Doctor Stoddard isn't "only" a MMJ doctor, her practice is psychiatry and neurology.

As far as being a "card holder" NO THANKS!! You don't have to have a card, only a permit to be legal. Personally, I don't want to be on anyone's "registry" HIPPA privacy laws cover this doctor visit as it does anyone's, nobody has the right to your information unless you give the doctor permission to disclose it. My permit is hanging on my wall, I am legal. I also carry a copy of my paperwork with me. The only people that know are myself and my doctor, unless I choose to tell someone else.

I recommend calling her office and talking with Daryl, he will make sure you get any forms you need and help with getting your records. After two weeks of waiting for the imaging department to fax my records, Daryl called them and they were there the next day....he is good. 206-782-6463 appointments are made for Fridays.

They provided me with "Designated providers" paperwork and gave me a list of local providers I could use.

As far as the law? Obama said "don't mess with medical marijuana" and King County has a mandate saying it is the lowest priority, Seattle has a "no bust" policy for medical marijuana. Other areas are not as friendly, but if you stay within your guideline....15 plants at any stage of growth, and no more than 24 oz on hand, you should be fine.

Do know, if you are busted...your doctor will have to defend you, and the jury decides if you really qualify...not fair, but that is the way it is. From what I have read during research, you have to mess up to get in trouble...more than 15 plants etc. so just keep your nose clean.

$200 has been the going price for some time, I see advertisements now for cheaper, but I think you get what you pay for. IBS is a qualifying condition. These doctors...whomever you pick, want your money and will try to help you get your permit, it's just a matter of finding someone you feel comfortable with and that you have confidence in defending you if need be.

:clap: Congrats on your card! I feel like you do it is better to pay a little more to go with someone you feel comfortable with. I paid 200 and I see the 99.00 red light special and just stay away. I will be going back to my original doc when my year is up. I think it will be 175 but I don't care they have me on file and where I went it was an actual doctors office and like yours my doc wasn't some hack trying to make a buck! And he had MS so he knew MMJ wasn't some joke or BS.

My buddies got theirs at a hotel where they rented the confrence room and packed it with pot heads, then handed out cards! LOL

Well Howard, that is just scary :shock: How would you track these doctors down if you ever needed them to back you up?

save yourself the hassle, ask for the dr's name, if they ask why tell them you want to protect yourself from fraud, if you get the name, lookup their NPI Number in the registry HERE'S THE LINK

no need to know all info just name and state (I saw my doc 4 hours away from where his office is registered - still legal but just search name and state) this should give you some contact information call - see if it works, if not i would bail if its legit, verify he does the recos in XYZ city so if you are "busted" you know how to find him - any lawyer worth his weight in dogshit should know this though...

thats if you're that worried about it - me; i look at it like this...

its not my fault some asshole in a doctors office told me he was a dr and forged dr's credentials breaking federal law when i have MOUNDS of paperwork to back up i qualify

AFTER (allow me to repeat that AFTER) I lawyered up, I'd tell the prosecutor personally to suck my asshole and take the case to court laughing out of the door. not a jury in the world would convict me, i don't sell and im under my plant limit - not to mention -nothing a judge has the power to do is any worse than what my body will do to me in the next 10 or so years.
