Just received an order from Herbies that went through Chicago - 8 days total shipping time. Package was a little beat up, but otherwise OK. I last ordered from both Herbies and Attitude in January 2012 with no problems. Herbies has stepped up their game on shipping discretion since then.

What ship method did you choose?
It was what Herbies is calling "stealth". This leaves the seeds in the original packaging. Probably "super stealth" would be better, but I don't know. Maybe the tiny plastic bags they use for repackaging "super stealth" seeds are easier to see due to concentration of seeds in smaller package. I had 3 packs of 10 and the freebies. Either way, I think they ship all orders in a similar fashion and let's leave it at that.

I also think the customs scanning process has to be fairly quick due to the volume of mail and that the operators inevitably suffer the MEGO effect (my eyes glaze over). Since it is a government job, it's not like they are penalized for failure.

I want to re-up on on some new strains, I have enough to last me and I clone, but I enjoy running new material every now and then so ill just keep waiting on Chicago to get over whatever they have up their ass before I place another order lol

Sorry to be "that guy" but I'm going to bump this thread because I think it's that important. Midwest folks need to know which banks are still safe and reliable if they're going to be butting heads with CHicago.

A friend of mine used the candy and wallet option and it took 23 business days for it to arrive at his location from ISC chicago. I'm sure the name and address on the packages from TUDE is what's sending up the red flag. I'm sure after a few hundred of these packages being snagged and knowing what to look for these packages probably stand out as if they were bright pink neon. My package is sitting at ISC since 9/5 and after reading all the problems about ISC chicago and the tude I would have ordered from another vendor. I wish I had read all the posts about the Tude and ISC chicago before I ordered. :(

Chicago is not the only place having problems. I have had all my orders except for one confiscated. 3 from the tude and 1 from Herbies, all confiscated and all coming in through Los Angeles. I have one that has been sitting there for 2 weeks now. I am going to give up on order from the UK. As soon as these last few come with the green tape and letter I will ask for a refund.

Mine got snagged in LA customs too. I think the international seed party is over.... sure you can get through on occasion but the bottom line is (I believe) if they pick your package to look at, its gone. They are better educated and have better tech. its that simple. Gonna have to breed seeds with what we got and wait for laws to change.

I'm in the same state as you, so both of ours come through the same port. I got my medical card so this customs bs really ticks me off. I have tried the seeds from the dispensaries and they suck. They don't offer anything thats worth it and 50% or more of their crap hermies. So until laws change at the federal level we are screwed.

Glad I ordered from the doc lol. Don't think he has nearly the volume of the others, so not nearly the lookout from customs lol

It's been 14 days for me since I placed the order. Dispatched on the 10th and no package. I'm in the west coast area and maybe LA has gotten my beans this time. I've never had an issue and usually get my package in 7-8 days. I guess I'll have to call the fuck heads. Has anyone ever called customs?

My order has been sitting in LA customs since the 11th. I have never had one sit this long. I have a feeling they know companies will re-ship once you receive your package with the letter and green tape so they are keeping them on purpose to prevent this. Anyone else experiencing extremely long delays too?
