Any tips on this..

Hey all I upgraded my air pump last night. But now you can hear the vibrating threw the house. Any tips on reducing the the sound with out turning it down was thinking of placing pumps on top of polystyrene or hanging them up some where? Hopefully someone else has had this issue.Many thanks in advance Marcy

Simple solution , stop buying cheap shit , inferior pumps are almost always noisy ..

It was not a cheap pump my old one was hence the upgrade. Even simpler solution egg carton under the pump!

What better answer, then the one you found out works, and you thought of? BAM! How'd you fix it?

Just annoying sometimes when you help others out when they have problems or need advice and when you need it no can be botherd. Hey hoe that's life

Ye true buddy. Put a empty egg carton and bit of foam under my pumps.

The egg carton was a good fix. match

Ye works a treat. Put my hand next to it on floor and feel no vibrating at all.... Happy days

Don't let others control your day my friend! Smoke a bowl and if someone is haveing a bad day taking it out on you just have pitty for them. I have bad days and yell all the time!

Thats cool mate I no there are a few decent people on here that have helped me alot.
Yee I don't take it to heart lol just laugh and carry on with my day

how hot does the pump get? wouldn't an egg carton burn possibly?

Not that hot for it to burn mate. Don't no about other pumps but these don't get hot at all.
