Any suggestions or ideas?!?!

Hello everone,
I'm in a 5x5 tent atm and am having a bitch time controlling and figuring out how to keep the temps ideal in there(no ac), I have a 400 cfm 2650rpm fan blowing air across the hood and I have a little booster fan taking air out of the tent at the top like a chimney, along with 2 house fans on the floor and vent flaps open, I don't know if its a good setup or not but ive been moving it around and trying different things and this is where I am now. The temps in the area of the tent and in the tent are averagely 73-82 in a 24 hour period, but as soon as the light comes on ( It's a 1000 watt air hood light) the temps start increasing about 2-3 degrees every time go to check on it within an hour span everytime.. 2 hours in I cut it off once it reached 89 it didnt seem like it would stop and even if it did I heard ideal temps are 70-80 averagly and that theres some room to wiggle on hot days, but hot days everyday isnt good I don't think. So any questions, comments, thoughts, ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance bongsmilie

easy

1 the fan on the cool tube hood need to be sucking not blowing ..........u leave the end of it open inside the tent (growth u can leave it open flowering u want a carbon scrubber on there )
the fan is running a 400 cfms now u need a power intake running little slower then that 240 cfms (this will keep it negative pressure...no smell leaks )

that will tell u how to make a filtered power intake

now the other part is the intake air u need it cool ........70s 68 .......your tent should run about 8 to 10 degrees hotter then your intake atleast mine does

I did have it sucking air before the setup mentioned up there^ but it didn't seem to be making a big difference for some reason.. The temps kept climbing. I did move the fan closer to the tent recently, like almost directly against the light( it's hangining) I have a little 8" booster fan that I tried as an intake before also, the tent had negative pressure and everything but didnt seem to be cooling down, not even to the room temp. The way it is now is alright, kind of. I sat in the tent with the light on and all the ventlation and stuff for like 20-30 and it didnt seem to bad, I didnt feel any waves of heat coming or sweat or anything but the temps read like 90 canopy level in direct light and around 87 above light . I guess I could try turning the fan around and try sucking now that it's closer and not trying to pull it like 5 feet.

IMO you should be sucking the air from cool tube straight out across the top of the tent and out and have that little booster fan on the bottom of the tent helping intake fresh air. Is the tent in a room or a closet?

Outside i'm not sure probably around 70's at night to high 80's during the day but the tent is in a garage that has shade almost all day and concrete floors so it's a tad more cool in there it feels. My high and low point temp gaige is usually 70-85 24 hours around.

Alright, so I just got back from changing up a few things.. I turned the fan around so it's sucking from the hood, I put the little booster fan on the floor outside of the tent blowing air in and opened the vent flaps and a little opening at the top for hot air to leave maybe, I turned it all on before the light, right when I left I turned the light on it was 73 degrees and had negative pressure. So ill go check on it in a few mins to see if it's changed at all.

I let it run till now so, that's about two hours... Within the first 20 mins the temp jumped up to 84 I was scared DX haha but I let it keep going cause it's daytime And it's getting hotter anyways, thankfully it seemed to peak at 86 under the light at canopy level and stayed there, on the ground it was 84, the glass on the hood was warm to the touch but not burning. It's about 75-77 outside right now it's going about 10 degrees more than the room, but i'm also planning on running them at night as well so that will make an overall bigger impact I feel.. Starting them at 7pm-1pm. I think that things should hopefully be pretty smooth from here on out bongsmilie:-P
