Hey guys,
My plants are too freakin' tall! Their in the 4th week of flowerig and there's no way to raise the lights any higher! :( What should I do? Should I just prune the tops that have already begun flowering, or just let them burn up and hope for the best? :fire: What a bummer! This is my first Hydro grow, 3 liberty haze, using AV nutes, Hobbyist level. What do you guys suggest?

better late than never ... learn how to supercrop, LST and topping.

About a foot below the top gently bend the stem to a 90 degree angle. Its ok if the stem flattens at the bend, just don't break it.
You can also pinch off the top although its a little late for that, since your out of space, and the regrowth will shoot up.

If its early enough in flowering, you cut it way down, and follow up with LST and supercropping.

Hey Purple,
Thanks for the reply! I've actually supercropped #2 and 3 quite a but. NOt sure what LST is, but will look that up. I'll be attempting to supercrop #1. Thanks again!

Actually if u pinch the stem then bend it it will do great. When u bend them without fracturing the bend point u have a much greater chance of them just snapping and then they are done.

Those are going to keep growing for a while, you will need to supercrop them about 45 nodes down and then it would be beneficial to throw a net over the tops to keep them supported for late flower

Thats why its important to research the strain your growing. Sativa's can grow through your ceiling if you let em veg too long. Been there, done that. While an indica variety stays relatively short. Good luck
