9.5 weeks into flowering a scroged Willie Nelson plant an emergency came up and I had to leave the plant for way too long and it basically drank the whole reservoir in a 5 gal DWC set up and the top canopy began to die I assume from the complete lack of water and nutes. The bottom growth is not in great shape, but much better than the top. As it was Willie Nelson and intentionally pollinated I didn't expect a big harvest, but I would like something, at least some good seeds. So my question is should I chop the top of the plant and take the seeds now and let the bottom continue to flower? Or should I let the top keep going so the seeds mature? Or is it all a big loss and I should take down the whole thing and take whatever I can from it (it does take up a good amount of room)? I included pictures, the quality isn't great but you can get the idea of the devastation. The resolution isn't too good, but the seed is firm and brown with a grey/white color - first time I've grown seeds so I'm really new to that. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry about the problem bro, I agree as long as the bottoms of the plants have beecome well pollinated then topping them will probably help the health of the bottom of the plant. I would think that it would be better to grow fewer seeds that will be good and viable vs. burned tops & seeds that might not sprout anyway. peace
