He is so correct. I have a ipower and an apollo in my veg room. Been running the ipower for at least a year and the Apollo for 9mos with zero trouble.

I got my switchable 1k ballast with hps and mh bulbs from eBay. Running for almost 2 years with no issues. Finally need to replace the hps bulb as I use it during veg and flower. Spent $100 with a reflector. Bought a cool tube separate for like $65 I think. eBay is the cheapest.

Thanks for the info guys ill try a few out and decide whats the better deal
