Lol, can't even ship liquor or wine into Texas. Do you remember when all the stores were closed on Sundays until 1985. Think we will be waiting a very long time for mj.

Blue Laws backwards around here...

A blue law is a type of law designed to restrict or ban some or all Sunday shopping for religious standards, particularly the observance of a day of worship or rest. Blue laws may also restrict or ban sale of certain items on specific days, most often on Sundays in the western world. Some Islamic nations may ban on Fridays, and Israel often on Saturday Sabbath. Blue laws are enforced in parts of the United States, as well as some European countries, particularly in Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Norway keeping most stores closed on Sundays.
In the United States, the U.S. Supreme Court have held blue laws as constitutional numerous times due to secular reason even though the origin of the blue laws were for religious purposes. Most blue laws have been repealed in the United States, although many states still ban the sale of alcohol or cars on Sundays.

I know exactly what you mean. My state government has historically defied the will of its people. Time and time again. There's no denying it, the collective IQ of the state house and senate combined wouldn't crack three digits. All they care about is guns, guns, guns. That's the last thing they need to concern themselves with, no one is going to take their guns. It's very much like a 14 year old boy's obsession with masturbation. The sad part is, we're a mostly agricultural state, we could grow cannabis for the whole nation.

Sorry to rant in your Texas thread, just know you are not alone in your misery.

Ps- I have nothing against guns in responsible hands.

Yeah I remember those times when everything was closed.

I feel that Texas will eventually legalize but it will probably be the very last state that does it. Damn religious uneducated rednecks. They would rather crack open a beer instead of a book.

Texas just had the hb 841 i think i cant remember the bill, but it was supposed to be a step forward for medical, but i got revised and chopped up as to where only kids under 21 get a second chance if they get busted with a gram or so. anyone older than that is considered to have a life now and the lawmen want those people who contribute to society to pay. possibly breaking up a tight family bond and devastating every member. I think it is retarded and that is why I have chosen to pack up and leave to colorado. buy a small piece of land out in the mountains and fuck the world. anyways it is turning to shit
