Any know what's up with these leaves?

This is from one of mt buddies plants its in a topfed dwc/ bubbleponic system, 400w hps light unknown seeds. Anyone know why the middle leaf is so long?

Could be genetics as the previous poster said. Is it a clone that started flowering already and was revegged? Do the leaves below it have 3 leaflets/fingers/blades too? Or 5? In either case, if a cannabis plant isn't in an optimal environment it may stick to or revert to only 3 leaflets, ie. yours seems to be missing the 2nd and the 4th.

When's the last time your friend checked/adjusted PH levels, and how often? High ph can give you some funky growth, IME. You say it is a seed, yes? I really don't think it is genetics.

Ha I dunno if he checks it or not when im over there I check it once in a while for him but im sure its the pH. Yeah its from seed.
