Any Info on Somango, Kushage, Satori & Whiteberry please?

Hey. I am trying to find 2 or 3 strains for stealth closet, with quality of high being most important. I will be glad to hear absolutley any information about these 4 strains (have found little more on Satori).

I've heard that Whiteberry, Kushage and Satori have a lower than average odour, can anyone confirm this? Does anyone know how strong a smell the Somango (skunk's in its genes) is?

I would also be glad to hear any smoke reports/grow tips for these strains (especially the Somango and Kushage) :weed:.

3 of these 4 strains I have chosen for their 'creative' element, has anyone found this in these (or other, I guess) strains? The few smoke reports that i've read on them have not mentioned the inspirational and artistic aspect. I do alot of creative writing and design.

Incase you should want to know, i'm also considering Himalaya Gold (Clear & creative high), Cannasutra (would love to hear more about this), Arjan Haze #3, Masterkush & Sadhu. Look forward to hearing from anyone who cares to help :-P

Anyone? Would really appreciate it :)
I can't speak for the others but Whiteberry freakin reeks! I mean it is some of the stinkiest bud I have ever grown. Very pungent sour smell. Good smell but it reeks so bad, you can't carry any out in public without people smelling it.

It is an easy plant to grow and gives a good yield. I didn't have the purple pheno but there were some purple colors, especially when temps were around 65 at night. The high had a real low ceiling so I didn't keep it around long. It's not a bad plant just wasn't my cup of tea. It also had lots of resin and good bag appeal if that means anything.

I wasn't that impressed but to each his own. If you are concerned about smell, then I would put Whiteberry at the bottom of the list.

Himalaya Gold is great for the arts and so is Satori. Attitude can help you with both and go feminized with both. I did 2 of each in a scrog and was blown away with the results. Very good head high. A wake and bake in the morning or afternoon high. Not good for sleeping as it makes you think too much. Hope this helps.:weed:

AFAIK, fem satori are not available. But it is some great weed. I have absolutely no artistic ability so I can't comment to any enhancements there. But I find that I really get into whatever it is I'm doing. It makes me want to take things apart and fix them for some reason. And usually I'm clear headed enough to put things back together correctly afterwards.

I know mandala recommends it for artists/musicans. They are usually pretty accurate with their strain descriptions. I'd say the odor is about average, with the more indica pheno have a little stronger smell. Feel free to ask any other questions, I love talking satori.

Cheers all. Satori and Himalaya Gold both sound fitting. A surprise that the 2 Nepalese strains are the most inspirational. It would seem many high altitude plants have a little more thoughful and unusual highs. I will start 2-4 of each strain to filter the phenos, so would hopefully find Satoris 'spear' pheno.

Glad you let me know that Rocky Top High. Though I will be taking measures to reduce odour escape, a slightly lower odour strain will just make me feel more safe. Shame about the Whiteberry smoke, thought 2 of the best together would be the best ever! :-P

How short a height do you think the Himalaya Gold or Satori could be finished with trimming? Also how would the pruning of sativas effect yield/stress? I love what I've seen so far of Mandala, wild genetics and exotic scents.

Anything on Somango, Kushage or Cannasutra anyone?

My shortest harvest was a clone that finished at 12".

My satori usually doubles the first couple weeks of 12/12, so just plan to flower smaller plants if height is an issue. I only have 50" from floor to ceiling to work with, if that helps you any.

rocky what was wrong with whiteberies smoke? what would u rate it from 1-10
I would give it a 5. It had great flavor...lots of resin...nice, thick buds but when it was time to give it a go, she fell flat on her face. Initially, the high was pretty good, gave a nice strong head rush. However, after about 15 minutes, I needed a few more hits because the high just sorta farted and fell. After a couple of bowls, I had a very nice "stoned" type of high. After about an hour, I was crashing bigtime so I took a few more hits. I got a decent buzz but it seemed like I had hit the ceiling.

I smoked it for a couple of weeks and it just never seemed to give me much of a high. I could smoke a bowl or two anad get a decent buzz. After about 45 minutes, I could light up some WW or Kali Mist and both of those just left the Whiteberry in it's dust.

I took some to a wedding party and everyone really liked it. However, we were all also drinking so the buzz just never jumped out at me. I ain't trying to knock Whiteberry because it is a beautiful plant while growing. It's just not the type of buzz that I like. Out of all the different strains i have grown...20+...Whiteberry is at the bottom of the list as far as potency IMHO. As a matter of fact, I ended up giving away over a 1/4 LB of Whiteberry to friends. The feedback after I gave it to them was pretty much what I got. It was fun and good for a couple of times but it really wears out it's welcome pretty fast. Hope this helps and again, I ain't trying to rip WB but I was asked and I am only stating my persoanl opinion. Maybe someone liked it better than me.

Thanks Howard, this gives me confidence for a small satori. I currently can't think of a potential problem with the Satori at the minute, it sounds perfect. You've convinced me, cheers.

Whiteberry, abit of a damp squib then, needs a longer lasting buzz.
I will replace the option then as it lacks potency and packs an odour. I'll look into Northernberry, sounds a sturdy, light smelling and easy plant.

Any info anyone?

The short pheno of the satori has a bit of a smell issue.. The skyrocket pheno has a slightly better buzz, but isnt worth the extra time and trimming effort, and is probably too tall for your application.

i think Rocky Top has been right on target in his two previous posts about white berry. i've never grown it but i've bought a few sacs of it. it did have good bag appeal: fluffy and frosty. and the odor was very strong.

i picked up one of the sacs at work and it came in a coffee box. the dude thought the coffee box would help control the smell :wall: anyway, we left the large storage room we were in and later a non-smoking colleague entered the room for supplies.

when my colleague saw me next he said, "the storage room smells like mint," with a funny look on his face. it wasn't mint of course, but its distant relative :leaf: white berry reeks

i found the flavor much better than average. the inhale was lacking but the exhale had an undeniably strong fruity flavor. this was especially true when smoking joints. and i must add here that my stash was not cured properly so the taste could've been a lot better.

but for such great weed, Rocky Top is right, the high was not too impressive. i mean anything will get me high. i've smoked so much mexican dirt weed in my life i oughta know. but at the most i got high for 30-45 minutes.

i don't have a lot of experience with different strains (20+ or anything), but that's my experience with whiteberry. the breeders still deserve a lot of credit, they made some pot with a great look, smell and taste. :peace:

got a mate who's in flower now with a somango feminised ,will let you know how it is as i was curious aswell for more info than the seed companies give :)
