Any idea what this leaf issue is?

Organic Soil (bio365)
Deerpark at 6.5ph water
Nothinh else added
Just did my first top dress yesterday (4-4-4 gaia)

You thinking epsom foliar tonight?
It certainly wouldn't hurt anything and that will tell you quick if that's the problem.....which it sure looks like.

Cheap fix!!

When I grew in organic soil using RO water, I added 1/2 tablespoon to epsom to every gallon of water, from start to finish.

Are they all the same seeds/genetics? Because it looks like a genetic coloration variation. If it's all different strains and not the same ones then it's potentially mosaic but the fact in the last post it doesn't cross the midline makes me think genetic.

PS all mine that threw genetic variation grew out of it.

They are the same genetics! I'll keep chugging em along & see what happens. I'll give them some epsom anyways though i guess 8-)

Thanks

My Motorbreath 15 throws a few of those every grow and I've seen no adverse effects from it. I'm thinking it's genetics as others have mentioned. Mag deficiency is usually gradual and doesn't just effect half of the leaf. It happens more when my tent is overcrowded which could mean it's triggered when leaves are over lapping and causing a very moist microclimate. Keep an eye on it but I'd say it's nothing to stress about.

Mag issue looks like "leaf striping" between the margins and is a consistent discoloration. This, however, is irregular and you can tell it's a cholorosis related issue and not a fade due to lockout or deficiency.

Are all your plants cuts of the same mother? Are they seed stock? Same strain, same seed pack??

I'm going back to your o.p. and you said it's on ALL YOUR PLANTS. . ...makes me wonder if it's a viral expression??

All seeds planted & from the same mother/plant. Small batch of SSDD F2 BX1 from HolyAngel on OG. Doubt its viral as I've never taken in a cut, nor do I use tobacco. These are new 7gal grow bags from GrowGen. I guess its possible someone at the store touched the grow bags & it transferred to my hands at transplant time?

It's is extremely unlikely that is Tobacco Mosaic Virus. It looks just like my variegation I get and I always have healthy plants that show it. Here's a leaf on the Motorbreath 15 I'm flowering now.

The whole plant so you can see it's healthy.
Here's a good read on TMV and how rare it is in cannabis. Shows some good signs to look for. https://premiumcultivars.com/plant-problems/tobacco-mosaic-virus-cannabis/

Yeah, it's probably just a genetic expression then. Like Cav also said as long as it's otherwise healthy, cool

With all the recent hlvd scares, I swear to god any abnormal expression nowadays I'm like "FUCK, does this plant have hop viroid"  lol!

I don’t think it will be a problem. I have a thug pug mom that I’ve had for about 2 years that has her little trademark.
had pics for 3 plants and nugs from all 3, but one didn’t upload. All the same clone. 3 different runs. I think it may just be in the genetics, if anything itcould be magnesium/K related if genetics isn't The reason.IMG_0797.jpegIMG_0868.jpegIMG_2082.jpegIMG_2422.jpegIMG_6721.png

We currently have an original PBB cut that literally shows all symptoms of hlvd (lower yield, stretchy branches that cant hold weight, a sort of low veg vigor) but it's still frosty and potent as all hell. I almost ditched my cut I was almost sure it was affected:

No chlorosis or anything, just odd and "viney" looking, odd leaf finger numbers with no consistency. . .. i dunno, lol

I'm about to hit it with a Epsom/Potassium Silicate foliar. You think 1/8th tsp of epsom to 16oz water?

That is what it looks like, or at least how mine all looked and behaved as you reported. I lost a table of precious genetics to it. I hope it's not but I would consider a meristem cleaning. That wasn't available back then. Mine never lost potency, yield just dwindled to the point it wasn't worth it.

Bummer. This one still rips so I'm chalking it up to "weird pheno" again, for now. And lucky for me i only do 3 plants at a time so it's never a huge setback, and plenty of seeds to start over if that's ever needed. Riding this one out for now

Yeah it really was. I have a bunch of seeds and I have been thinking of dropping some but so many others on deck. I was just so broken hearted and unsure about what it was I wasn't ready. I wish you well and hope that's not it.
