hi. Question about Co2.

First time I've used Co2. My PPMs are 1300. Closed room. When lights go off I've noticed the PPMs raise about 100-200. My controller is set to 0 when lights off. When I check my room just before lights on I'm usually 1000 PPMs. Is this normal for Co2 rooms?

Thanks!,

The only way I've explained this to my self is because their releasing at a bigger rate during dark period, due to the massive amount they took in during lights on. I wondered the same thing your wondering years ago. So yea its normal.

My co2 turns off 30 min before lights off, let's the plants use up what's in the room then at lights off I exchange the air(vent).
I have a generator and a tank system, generator runs when temps are below setpoint and tanks run when at setpoint or above. I start co2 again during the dimming up cycle during lights on(gavitas), at this time I run the generator and the tank at the same time until I hit 1200ppms then the automated system takes over based on ambient/room temp.
Edit: my post was directed to a deleted post.

Does your co2 shut off right at lights out? If your losing only 200 ppms during 12hours you have a well sealed room! Plants don't use much of anything during lights off, I'm guessing that increase in co2 right at lights out is because you run your co2 right up to lights out, do your circulating fans turn off at lights out too?

It's very sealed for sure. Yes I dispense Co2 right up to lights off. My controller has a sensor in my room to detect lights off. I have 8 circulating fans and 1 on the floor (pushing Co2) that never shut off.
