I'm working on my harvesting and curing techniques. Is there any difference or benefit from taking the entire plant, root ball and all, and hanging it upside down to dry versus cutting off the buds and hanging them by their stems to dry? Cutting the stems is the method I've used previously, and I may have let them get too dry because its a bit of a harsh smoke. I didn't know if more crystals would form from having the fluids in the roots and the main stem left connected to the buds? This makes sense to me, but I'm by no means experienced so if someone who is could share their experiences that would be great.
