Any Arizona growers around here?

I’m looking for other growers in Arizona for seed or clone trades, discuss solutions to our environmental challenges in the desert, and just to connect with locals that enjoy the same hobby.

Oro valley grower here. I have not had good luck growing outside, too many bugs and too hot. That being said I'm trying a couple of plants outside in SIP planters as an experiment. I have a couple of nets I'm going to use to keep the bugs off. We'll see if they can survive the summer heat, I'm thinking if I keep the planters moist and not too much direct sun maybe.

Ya, the bugs here are no fun. Monsoons in late flower don’t help either. Are you planting directly into the ground or pots? I did 25 gal grow bags last time I did outdoor. Worked pretty good.

I've got a couple of 5 gallon SIP buckets. I can move them around as need be.
