I want to install an Air conditioner in my grow room, because temperatures where I live are reaching around 28°C but if I turn on the lights (around 2000w) it raises up to 38°C. I actually Have my Air extraction with carbon filters. My issue here is What kind of AC is recommended for my room? Which is 190 cms x 290 cms, and how I'm suppossed to install it in order to do not extract air that have not been filtered through the carbon filter? Any ideas or help would be great help.

Well a 1 ton ductless mini split would not exhaust any air but setup is complicated.

A portable unit will exhaust air and that would need to go through an inline carbon filter, most of them need to have a condensate drain line but some actually exhaust it with the air.

If the inline carbon filter didn't get all the odor then a room scrubber carbon filter setup would be in order.

You dont want to run A/C into a room that has an an exhaust. You need to run a sealed room. Theres a bit more to running a sealed room so I suggest reading up on that subject a bit before buying anything for your room to cool it.

I run a 9000btu portable unit outside the room. the cool air from the portable unit is pointed directly into the doorway and passes across a 10g/hr ozone generator. the hot air from the AC condenser is ducted into the roof space. the air from the grow room is extracted with a carbon filter and a 20cm centrifugal fan, unsure of the CFM. probably don't need the carbon filter anymore with the ozone generator but still on there as I'm too much of a pussy to take it off and see. the room is 1.8 meters by 3 meters and has 6 x 600w HPS units in. without the AC the room gets to 45 degrees C, with the AC it nudges 30 on a bad day. It's not as efficient as sealing the room and using a split but it works and it's simple and it was cheap. just wish I'd got the 15000 btu unit. hope that helps you somehow.

I vent a 11000 btu portable AC into my tent and exhaust it out of a window. We typically run 30-40 100+ degree days per year.

Once it cools off I yank the AC and replace it with an exhaust fan otherwise it rains in my tent from humidity.

My tent is puffed up half the year and imploding the other half.
