Any advice on which seed to start out with?

I was leaning towards Northern Light just because I keep reading it's the easiest to grow, doesn't grow too tall and doesn't smell much while growing.

The other one I was considering was Blue Mystic.

I want to start out with something easy, small and doesn't smell to bad or noticeable. I want something I can easily hide in a closet without it growing to the ceiling. :)

Also, I don't know too much about types of weed other than some of it smells good and sweet when smoking and some has a nasty, cheap ciggerette or cigar scent to it and I definitely don't want that kind.
What types have that cheap, musky scent to it so I can avoid it?:spew:

my only full experience was with b.c. mango from bcseedking.com

it had a great flavour, stayed small and bushy, and didn't smell too much while flowering.

im working with northern lights now, as well as a couple others, and although i don't know all the strains by any means, from what i've read
it seems like northern lights is one of the best, respected, easy to grow strain that is more powerful than most.

hope that helps

northern lights are the one to start off with they are more forgiving to newbies. they hardly smell during veggative only if you get your nose right on the leaf. flowering is hardly a problem i use a cooker extractor fan filter which has activated charcoal on it cost me £1 for 4. saves paying for a proper one and the added benefit of NL not smelly during veg or flower. i still have my 3rd generation clones plus some new NL seeds i done not long ago which are due soon. if you go for the creme da la creme of strains white widow bb is one of them up there but they are less forgiving as i found out lol.
