Ants making tunnels in my plants

What can I use to kill ants or deviate their track. They are making holes in the lower stem and making their way to the top.
Will do even chemical.

Put some DE down on the soil around the plant. Not many insects can survive walking thru that stuff.

You must have eyes of a wolf to be able to see ants at 3 in the morning!?

Lol jk, but those lil suckers farm aphids for their youngins, best take care of that problem ASAP.

Thats right ...and the first sign i seen of ants last season i seen whiteflies 2 weeks after

And in case you haven't searched it yet, it is like little razor blades to them. And dehydrates them

I read that cinnamon is a great repellent. Draw a cinnamon circle around your plants and they won't cross it (like ghosts and salt circles )
Cinnamon doesn't kill them but it keeps them away.
