I read somewhere that if you mix used coffee grinds with water and put in your soil and then use a spoon to loosten it all up. Well I did this and when i mixing it up there were huge cockroach lookin beetles in it!!! the water seemed to make them frenzy and some actually got stunned like they were hit with a taser, and I lifted the whole pot up and there were alot in that too, so I did the best I could to get them all out of the soil and the ants started attacking them!! after watching a mini war I moved the pot to a different hole and now working on a defense against them, any1 got any other methods to keep them away, someone suggested neem oil on another website.

Diatromeceaus earth works great, its a completely safe organic powder, just sprinkle it on the top soil and it will burn up any beetles or ants. I had an ant problem a few years ago, little bastards were eating the shit outta my leaves, I used this and within a week I was good to go! everyone has their own thoughts about pesticides, just thought I'd share mine~~~dude
