do you guyz think this will work? i was thinking about taking little containers and hanging them with my own urine along with store bought buck urine and other animal urine around the area of the my plants.... do you think this would work?.. or help? how effective do you think it would be? any other ideas for keeping the deer, rabbits, and other small little shits outta my farm; besides pretending i'm elmer fudd and blasting them with a 12-guage?

Some say that male urine will keep deer away, others say it won't. I think it really depends on the deer population in your area, and what there food sources are like.

I don't think that I would use buck urine though. It could attract other bucks coming to cover the scent with their urine. Could end up turning into a big pissing match around your plants.

so screw buck urine... i dont know why i even thought of that. but what are some natural repellats of deer... i was told human hair clippings scattered around the area will help. true? i cut my hair once a week and will save that stough if it works... i know i piss every time i'm around my field. they sell deer repellant in the store but it's like over a hundred bucks for a big 2 gallon jug. i aint paying that because i know there is other ways to do the same thing.

Thats a great idea, leave your own urine sample around your plants so if you get busted the cops will have a nice big sample of your urine to prove it was your plants. Plus, hunters use buck urine to ATTRACT other deer, so I don't think that will work either!

Hair clippings, urine, fishing line, irish spring soap. Those are a few things that will help keep deer away from your plants. Careful with the soap though if you have mice/rats around the area as it will attract them.

I seen a post here where someone attached deer whistles to the trees around their plot. The whistles are small and black, and meant to go on the bumper of your car. They can be found at places like walmart.

You need preditor urine, mountin lion or wolves for deer/rabbits. Humen urin will work too we are the ultimate preditors. Fishing line knee high will help too with deer

I think that a buck would only mark over another bucks urine, but I may be wrong. They never marked over mine, but I may have just lucked out, or it could also be dependent on region and how aggresive the deer are there.

he said something about sore bought buck urine... that was the only thing. %100 human pee would prolly work, but i have never tried it.

oh yeah, that's right he did say that. I thought you were talking of the human kind. My bad. In that case the doc is 100% correct. Another buck would come along, especially during breeding season and cover the buck urine with his own. They'll do this to let the does in the area know that he is the dominate male and they should breed with him.

That's why hunters buy it. They know that it will attract other bucks.

No one specifically mentioned it yet, but coyote urine is supposed to work really well. I would suggest looking into that. Human hair clipping is also a good idea which many people have mentioned.

If there are alot of coyote where your planting then you may be in good shape. Not many deer should come around when they know there predators always around there.
