Another Think Different grow...

Hey people I'm back again with another grow of TD!

Since my last one I've upgraded the the setup and changed the grow room, this time I'm running 2 x 600w HPS, 6" inline fan and filter and the plants are in 1.5 gallon pots.
Also last time I was usin a grow room/closet type thing bit proved to be too small for 7 large plants so now I've got a large black orchid grow tent! 2.4m x 1.2m x 2.0 :-)

Anyways here's the 7 TD I have on the go now, they are on day 42.
Any suggestions good or bad?

Happy Growing :)

Lol thanks mate :) I'm only.runnin 16/8 this time and to be honest I don't think I need any more with the extra 600w...thought I may be under doin it but it seems they are more advanced than the last lot at the same age!

Il update again in a few days with pics but I'm hoping for somewhere around 20 oz dry so fingers crossed :-D

Also just has to change a bulb coz the guy I bought it off has obviously had the same bulb for a long time and it was pretty old, comparing it to my original 600w it had definately ran its course and was on its way out. The new one is so much brighter! Hoping it does the girls a lot of good lol

To be really honest I don't know if it's synthetic, organic or whatever lol I use bio bizz all mix soil, some say it's a bit hot for young plants and can burn them but it's worked wonders for me! I also use bio bizz grow, bloom, and top max all from bio bizz and that's it! I think I just stumbled upon a good routine by accident coz they look good and healthy apart from lacking N....which I really do need to sort out....think my tallest is around the 5 foot mark and smallest nearly 4 foot, il upload the next lot of pics tomorrow

That's including the pot but il measure it tomorrow and post the pics showing how tall they are, I'm pretty damn sure they will be close to 5' from the soil upwards

Update day 46:
Buds are really growing rapidly now, in 4 days they have really cone quite far more so than I expected!
Temps are around 32 degrees, the new light seems to be working far better than the previous bulb aswel.
Changing the nute schedule to full strength now.

I'm just about to start some think different seeds , what size pot do you use ? Do you start out in the size you plan on using all the way through or transplant half way though ?I've never done autos before . Do autos want feeding less or later than normal flowering plants ?

You made a good choice with TD! I use 1.5 gallon pots, don't transplant, it is possible but you need to know a lil bit about it but I would seriously recommend goin straight into a large pot somewhere around 1-3 gallons depending on how big your room/tent is and how big you want them to be.
Just use water for the first 2 week's then start small on the nutes about 1/4 strength and work up to full or near full strength over several weeks, that way your won't burn them.
I feed them every watering and every 2-3 days is best, wait until the pots are light or the soil is dry, they seem to love it!

How many are you goin to run? What lights? Room size? And what medium are you goin to use? I.e soil, coco, DWC.

Tent is 1 m x 1m x 1.8
I use bio bizz soil and nutes and have 600 w hps
I've got 3 TD and 1 auto blue mazer , I usefully always do too many plants for my space so this time I'm trying just 4 at a time

Ok I would recommend just the 3 TD coz they do get big dependin on your pots, my tallest is nearly 5 foot high, smallest is around 4 foot.

A 600w hps is perfect for this just watch your temps as it will get very warm in there!

I also use bio bizz all mix soil, grow, bloom and top max of the same.brand.and works great!

Any pics of your grow.space would be great :)

image.jpg Well I still have 6 plants in the tent right now got some skunk #1 from sensi seed and pure ak . I've only just put 2 seeds of TD in to germ a day ago thinking I could keep them in a small pot just for few weeks and use some clf 's in a DIY little grow space just while I'm waiting for these others to finish I thought it would save time if I started them now while the others are on there last 3 weeks . Hope I haven't done them too soon though with them being autos I guess they move a lot quicker than normal plants I'm used to doing

I don't know too much about transplanting as I've never done it before but I hear so long as you don't let them get rootbound or let the roots push against the side of the pots you should be fine providing you don't disturb them when transplanting, otherwise you will shock them and growth will stop and run the risk of stunting them
