I too didnt listen to it all. The part about Ontario placing a 25% tarriff on energy to the south is misleading as the premier implemented it on March 10th and retracted it the next day. It's still on the table though.
When we purchased a Subaru in 2016, it was one manufacturered in Japan (Forrester) not USA (Outback). It's been very reliable with no expenses beyond routine maintenance.
Edit: If/when a 25% tarriff were to be implemented, it'd amout to $10/MWh surcharge, which is equivalent to approximately $0.0025/kWh (since 1 MWh = 1000 kWh). Pretty insignificant as we pay about $.22/kWh. A quarter of a cent per kWh is jack shit to cry about.
