Another question about the hurricane/possible power outtage

So there is a few other threads around the site about what to do if the power goes out, etc, but I'd like to ask the same question only with my particular information and hopefully get advice on what is best to do.

I live on the *edge* of the projected path of Irene, in PA. However, there is a good chance the power will go out. Currently, my girls are on a veg. light cycle of 18/6. They are approx. 13 days old.

The timers are set to shut off lights at 1pm est and turn them on at 7pm est.

From what I've seen the forecast is saying the worst of the weather should hit this area sometime between 8pm sat night and 8am sun morning (anyone have more accurate info?).

Taking all of this into consideration I'm thinking I'll probably just keep them on their normal routine and when the lights come back on at 7pm (if the power is still good at that time) I'll let them. Then, if the power goes out I'll just deal with it, basically. SO, basically do nothing, lol.

The other option I was considering was changing their darkness schedule from 1pm to 7pm est tomorrow and go 6 hours from there, until 1am. My concern is this will stress the plant if I change the schedule up like this?

What do you guys suggest? Thank you so much for your advice if you read through all this

they are fairly young still, so i wouldn't stress too much about it at all tbh.. if worst comes to worst, and the power goes off for a couple of days or so, i'd say stick them all in a window sill that receives a good amount of day light for the most hours of the day..
this way they will still be getting some sun light and keep them from getting too stressed from lack of light, and even though it won't be a ton of light, it will be enough to keep them somewhat happy for a day or two..
this is what i'm planning on doing if our power goes out for more than a day or two as i'm a bit closer to the predicted path of the storm as well.. :)

Thanks for your reply. I guess I'm not too worried about them receiving more darkness than usual, I'm more concerned about changing their scheduled light. Will this stress the plants very much, if at all? If the worst comes to worst (which is unlikely IMO) and the power is out for a day or more then I can and will simply just give them windowsill light.

However, If the power does go out and they have only been under the lights for about an hour or so, is it better to keep them in darkness until 7pm next day(when I normally turn light on) or should I get the lights on them ASAP if the power comes back? I guess that is my biggest query.

Thanks again.
