Another Ohio Grow

Yea, i'd really like to continue to grow the kaya because i love the smell, taste, high and yield. And the early factor, but i can't deal with this every year i mean what if i was not able to be there to watch for mold.I made a cross of the kaya this year maybe it will be better. It was just a local strain i crossed into it. Will see how it does.
Thinking of getting some Early Pearl from sensi seeds and crossing into it this winter for next year's outdoor. I also like their early skunk has anyone grown these strains outside guerrilla style.

that hurricane dropped rain for a 5-6 days straight and three days before it hit the humidity was unreal, but truthfully i didn't get hurt to bad by it because they were almost done, i still have some oiut that aren't molding but they were 2-3 weeks behind in flowering. I liked the kaya the buzz is great and the yield was fantastic, and earlier then anything iv'e ever grown.
I will grow again next year plus some crosses of it, i crossed it on a local that i have never had mold problems with and plan on making some crosses with kaya this winter just don't know what to use i was thinking of early pearl from sensi seeds.

Well guy's i will get some pics up soon on the rest of my girls and some finished product, couldn't get final pics of a few as the mold caused me to make a unexpected cut. But i will still have a few kaya in the garden next year maybe 5-10 plus a cross i made with it.
Placed a order other day for next years gear already any info on selections would be great
10-grapefruit from female seeds
5-power africa from seedsman
5- romulans from next generation ( these are regulars im thinking of breeding some crosses with this winter besides making more romulan seeds)
blue mistic, ice, special queen#1 were freebies from Royal Queen
Already have some others i ordered while back
33- Iranian from dr. greenthumb
5-super silver haze GHS
5-Super Lemon Haze GHS
and a few other freebies from attitude think they were from sagamartha seeds.

What you guy's think of a romulan/ Iranian cross.

Those sativa strains may give you a hard time finishing. I usually stick with indica based plants

friend of mine in kentucky grows grapefruit and he raves about it, mid-otober around here is very easily done as long as your plant has some mold resistance.
Thanks for your input jj

I thought about growing some Kaya out this year, but ended up not for whatever reason. Since you say this, I will give her a try. Interestingly, the Sensi Early Pearl isn't even all that early is it ?

Early pearl has a sativa dom pheno that can really hurt us. Try Early Girl its their early finishing indica. Nice strain!

you know i have been looking at the early pearl, was thinking of putting her over the kaya for some added resistance, iv'e read she helps out like that.
The kaya is a stud for guerrilla grower's i think. But the if she molds again next year im done with her, this year maybe it was the hurricane and my lack of prevention.
But she's early and a heavy yielder, smell is heavenly, very strong high to boot.

Anyone ever hear of Halo, it's a foliar spray from europe that helps with disease and botryitis, plus is a growth stimulant.

everyone i know growing nirvana seeds outside in our area are dealing with mold, i have grown many plants until late october it's all about the plant's resistance.

i was told early girl is pretty weak smoke wise.
Yeah the smoke isnt GREAT but its alot better than the regular shit people find and its up to par with low tier 50/100. I hear easy sativa from female seeds is a very fast finisher.

I agree different strains deal with moister in completely different ways.

How does that Kaya Taste THawk?

It's quite smooth for all the longer it's been drying.
Curing a couple elbows for later in the year, but i like the taste hard to put my finger on a name for the taste but it leaves my tongue tingly sometimes like a menthol used to when i would steal a cig. from mt grandmother....lol
But there is zero skunk smell or taste in her and just a classic marijuana plant smell to me, very sweet like candy.

yea no skunk at all in her, in years past she has had a peppery taste, a VERY FRUITY taste and this year it seems

more of a danky earthy with a hint of oldness/basement smell.

nice all around high that is a yearly must.
