Another L.E.D. Grow Journal - I'm baaaaack!

Flowering Update


It's Day 20, and sex has not been able to be determined. My last grow, the hairs were starting to form nicely by day 15. I'm a little worried as to why it's not showing any sex. Other than that, they're growing intense. I just bought myself a 600w hps. I plan on using the 600w as the main light, and the LED as a filler.

Not too sure, im sure they'll show soon, just gotta give em time, last time it took mine 14 days.

I picked up a 600w hps last night and tonight am building a new grow cabinet to accomidate the hps. My led will be built on the groung shooting the light up, and the hps will be hung up shooting the light down. The dimensions will be 4x4x8. More than enough room for 3 plants, my 600 w and my 95w led. Will be posting pics tomorrow.

The HPS will definitely get those hairs kicking out, once I switched to more lighting and a red spectrum I seen hairs within 2 days.

How did it turn out?

look at the bright side, males will show sex before females, so a long wait can be a good thing.

Dam I just got a chance to look your grow up again and way cool man keep it up. I also figured out how to subscribe so I did.

Hey everyone, sorry about the delay. I didnt post any pics because the girls were taking forever to show sex. 2 of the girls ended up dying =(, so i just have the big girl. She's about 5 feet tall, and started flowering this week. Just an fyi, if you rush veg stage, it'll take forever to start flowering because it was premature. I'll update pics tomorrow. Hope everyone is well. =)

Wow sorry about the 2 going down man that's a bummer. Hope the one is staying strong.

ok i just started reading this forum and i must say tiger, if you are still tuning in you are an idiot, when you grow aero you want to flower your plants very small otherwise they got top heavy in their little 3" net pots, jazzy dont worry about anything he says hes a moron. stayin tuned want final weights on the LED's i have some available to me but dont want to use one till ive seen it work. maybe your work here will inspire me my friend

k so i got a question, did you go from seed or clone? dont give up on the LED's if you went from seed because the marijuana plant can take several months to mature from seed enough to start bearing fruits. and as i read through the forum i seen you guys made peace so ignore that last comment it just irritates me when people gotta talk shit for no good reason at all. especially considering ive been getting verry interested in LED's lately and i believe once they perfect the kinks out of the led's maybe in 5 or 10 years they are going to be blowing away the MH's and the HPS's.

Sorry to hear about the loss

Hay jazz had to tell ya about this one. My friend just gave me a purple jem male he didn't want. So I'm trying to think of what to do with this thing to keep it alive(and not stress the shit out of it). So I can harvest some pollen from it. But I don't want it were it can get my LR2 that is just starting to flower. So I remember your cups and it came to me. I have a big beer mug that a 3.75" net pot fits in just right. So I rap the thing in this black duct tape, and run a air line through the top. A little hydroton and a neoprene cover and voila. we have a micro DWC. Never would of thought of that one if I hadn't seen you doing it. Thanks man
