Another "is it time to harvest" thread.

Hello everyone. I am sorry for making a thread like this, I know there is a lot of them around. But when you are a nooby and it's your first harvest its a big deal. Now, I have 3 plants... Pineapple Express, Kosher Kush and Durban Poison. They are all 12/12 from seed. Pineapple and Kosher still has ways to go but I wanted to ask about my Durban.

My durban is the oldest, sprout was late Feb, early March. I have no idea why I noted pistils as 8th of march but whatever. I can't remember. Anyway, I do not own a microscope yet. I just bought one online but it will take around 10 days shipping. So, currently, I have no way of looking at the trichomes. I just want to know what you have to say about a possible harvest date.

This is it. I am feeding it with Biobizz bloom and Epsom salt(the burns are under control, there are no new ones. it was my stupidity way before I started using biobizz)

If you could give me whatever you think about the harvest date, I would appreciate it. This is going to be my first ever harvest. The goal of this grow was to have a stash for myself rather than pay for shitty dealer stuff. I will update later when I have the microscope but I can't seem to stop myself from checking it every day.

For my other plants... They are younger and budding up quite nicely. It is a stealth grow so the sizes of the plants are just how I like them. Now I used a bigger pot for my pineapple exp. because I didnt have anything small left. That plant got big as hell with tons of bud spots. Once I harvest Durban, it will be better with more room for the other two. Thank you.

Wait for the scope! 20% of your harvest weight will be in the last 10 to 14 days. Early harvest is a disaster. If you harvest a week or 2 late the only down side is your shit will put ya on the coutch to stay lol. The longer you wait the more the thc breaks down to cbn giving that couch lock body buz.

if you supply all the right resources your plants will finish June 30th.bongsmilie
you can always snip a bud and dry it, judge for yourself in real time
nutrient burns, inadequate lights, ill feeding etc all can delay finish

Hey man. Thanks, I read about that. What I am looking for is a headbuzz with this strain. I will have Kosher Kush for that couch lock. Milky with a hint of amber is what I am going to aim for.

30th June??!?!? Can't be... are you serious? Thats going to be like 110+ days total with 12/12 from seed. ( or are you adding in the drying and curing period too?)

If your in a legal state take a sample to your grow store have them take a peak.
Otherwise i would wait for the scope

You do know with photos in 12/12 they still won't flower until they are a few weeks in and ready to?

Plus If you're going by breeder suggested flowering times solely then you'll need to add some for the seedling stage and the fact that they exaggerate/have ideal environments

I am not in a legal state. :( about 12/12 yes I know but while I checked threads about 12/12 from seeds most were around 75 to 90 days harvest. Hence me being so surprised.

I am using a 150w custom led from cidly as well as two cfls. Here is an old pic(1st of may), should give you an idea. It is better now, plants are closer to the lights.

Guys!!! Here are some pics that might help! I used my macro lens. Can you guys give me an idea? Microscope won't be here for another 8 days.

I do see a couple of amber...just a couple on each leaf. Quite a bit of milky or clear ones turning to milk and clear ones as well as half and halfs. Am I right?

So based on this how long am I looking at until harvest?

those are leaf pics, check your buds. a bump or knock will damage trichs on leaves often and those darken.
you have some time to go still. cfl, burnt, led...et al

plenty of clear trichomes. if harvested now you would likely be disappointed .
I wait until every trichome deep solid cloudy regardless of how many ambers if any

Uh huh. And based on your experience that takes around...? You can just throw a number you are confident with. I will keep checking them regardless. I just want to have a possible time frame in my mind for clear ones to get milky. (Should I start "flushing" ? Getting my drying place ready etc...)

yes get your dry space ready.
I bet your biobizz says nothing about flushing. I'd follow the directions until they dont work for you anymore.

Durban is a sativa leaning strain, it will take longer to finish then a more hybridized strain.

If I had to guess, 2-3 weeks. But that's my go too :) Don't even bother scoping them until your pistils start to recede and the calyxes start to swell.

12/12 seeding should finish in the times you read about, without issues though.

Thanks. They seem to be bumping up in size each day actually. I think I can see some differences each day or two. Looking at that picture I have an idea what to expect. Thank you.

Yeah it says nothing about it. Alright, thank you.

Just keep in mind that's a dramatic example, those Calyxes are YUGE! :) :)

Looking great though dude, happy green plants. Good Job!
