come on man! you were already told a plant count. that plant count means if u have a doctors rec. u can hobbily grow your meds.
your plant count is a third of whats in a 90 mile radius of u.

it is my understanding the supreme court of california said county ordinances hold no grounds, if your dr says you can grow x plants then you can.

mongo, i really have my eyes set on sonoma, outside santa rosa preferably redwoods area, what's your input on this. Price is not a factor I am looking for best location for my needs. close enough to the bay for fun and private enough to grow in and out

6 lanes of fuck my life.
Best quote I've seen all day.

I too am looking at moving west to enjoy the fruits of a tolerant state instead of this redneck backwoods I live in now in terms of legalization status (texas).

I'm an database administrator/developer so would need to work someplace close enough to (tele)commute to with a good tech job market. I'm going to see if I can't find some kind of completely remote work when I get around to making the move. Crossing my fingers.

I'm a hobby grower - I only care about quality and not worried about selling it, though if the dispensaries haven't been shut down by the time I get there I might end up supplying because I'd love to do much larger grows. I'll want to move someplace as reasonable as possible cost of living wise without being a shithole. I don't want to live in one of the big cities but wouldn't mind living near enough to get to one reasonably. I'd like to have a little bit of land for some growing/gardening but not sure I'm going to be going for that when I first get there.

As far as my experience in CA to date, I've seen a good bit of the inland empire. I've been through LAX a couple times (saw Chuck Liddell there last time) and been to San Fran once to the downtown area for a conference for a few days. I'm going to be making a trip out to CA again later this year to do more exploring of different places and maybe some clone hunting with a friend of mine from there who also grows.

Just want to grow my bud in peace. Just looking for recommendations of good places to live and grow. May not have a choice as I'll have to go where I can find work.

1 thing that no one is telling you guys that want to move here is that california electric is very expensive , has to be the most expensive in the country. (4) 1,000 watt lights on top of your other equipment (fans, timers, etc) and you living there easily costs 7-800 a month. thats a fact. I know because my 8 lights cost me 1500 a month with me living there... FML.!! If i would've known that I might of moved to colorado. !

Colorado's limits are pretty low actually. And yeah I lived in NYC the past 2 years i'm used to crazy electric bills. Can anyone in san diego give me a KW/H price?? We're planning the move for april 1st but if this month keeps going the way it is...I might be able to get out there march 1st. Want to have 5-6K set aside for growing equipment to start out...and then will add stuff as I go. Luckily I work completely remotely from home so I get lots of time during the day to take care of stuff...and we make a very nice salary so I'm not depending on growing to make a living like most folks I see asking the questions I've asked.

Also GF came up with a great idea....wonder how the laws would be about a straight up cannabis eatery. Like all food contains thc...pasta's and what not...and then lots of baked goods. Think it would be a pretty awesome resteraunt for patients.

Yeah I'm just wondering what regulation would be at a place like this. Just take all of the trimmings from what we are growing and use it to make budder for cooking in everything we make. Some nice strawberry and whipped cream topped french toast with a side of cana-butter would be wonderful.
