Another Fan Problem... Advice required...

I'm using inlet and extractor fans, which are too noisy. Way too noisy. I've tried the insulated ducting, but it's not helping much. Any tips or ideas on how to reduce the noise level ? They range from 6" to 10" and are currently attached to the tent ceiling using chains. Ducting attached with jubilee clips. Filters attached with duct tape. Please advise. Thanks

It sounds like you have to build a box around your fan, line it with foam insulation.
I don't know about hanging it in your tent.
Set it on the floor outside your tent would work.

What kind of fans do you have and how are they configured? Do you have any pics of the system you could post?

get better fans, build sound boxes for fans, suspend the fans with a small bungee cord, the chains amplifys the noise, if you have ducting noise get a duct muffler. Passive intakes are better way to control temps and humidity your just adding heat, using power and adding noise running a fan for intake
