Another 1st time Setup ?s

So I am planning on becoming self dependent on my own medicine and had a few questions related to my potential setup. Really looking for any advice and if I'm heading I. Right direction. The area is a spare double door closet in my theater room (100 percent light controlled) and measures 6' wide 2' deep and 9' tall with temp set at 68-70 typically in room. Not ideal I know however it's what I have at the moment.

The plan is to go with DWC 5 gallon buckets. Not sure on total plants thinking 4-5 max. As far as strains looking at ghost train haze, amnesia haze, amnesia kush, trippy head gorilla, and others.

Currently thinking of running 2 hlg quadboard led 265 kits or 3 135 kits. The area can be painted Matt white, panda or Mylar still deciding. The main thing is keeping smell under control inside house with the carbon filter. I will be running a 6" inline fan to a phresh 6x24 filter. I plan to drill through ceiling of closet and run the exhaust to a existing exit in the attic venting outside.

Sorry for the long post but how does this sound so far knowing area dimensions and strain choice though I know breeder dependent on a few. Also would a 2x4 grow tent be a better option as far as cutting smell down more ontop of filter?

Thanks

If its truly light proof your carbon filter should be fine your biggest problem is going to be heat, humidity, and picking a strain. The temps out side will help but high wattage lighting in sealed areas generate heat. Less generate less heat but the generate heat. But if you can come up with a light proof way to let the cool air from the house in and and suck and filter it out then u should be ok too. Grow out one strain at a time. Different strains have different nutrient needs and different growth characteristics. You don't want to run into 3 different problems from 3 different strains at once. Pace yourself. Grow 3 -4 plants And dwcs are easy to start but a system with a reservoir even a small one would be better with the sec you'll have to clean each bucket every week or so having an extra bucket on standby helps but a lot of extra work and unless u do a rdwc you can't put plants that aren't established in a dwc also u need to wrap them in 10mil black plastic to avoid light leaks in the buckets

Thanks for everyone's help. The temps quoted btw were for inside home. Maybe to be a little more clear it's a closet in a 24x17 room that is absolutely light controlled with wall treatment. It has dual doors which are currently off and can be put back on. I can take one of the ac vents and run ducting from it directly to closet as well luckily one drops by it. Just want to make sure it will maintain smell and sound just as well as tent with some labor of course.

As far as strains thanks for advice. I was thinking 4 strains advance nutrients grow perfect ph etc. I have nothing but time available as I'm retired so no big deal to watch and maintain. Thinking scrog as well to maximize yield but who knows how that will go. And the buckets will be wrapped to prevent bacteria thanks for heads up. Water chiller possible as well.

Thanks for the help again I have been researching for journals etc for plans.
