With regard to apartments the people that currently do not grow, many of them will not be able to grow under new leases with their apartments. This is in the news a lot and I have read up on the rental boards and their intention to make it illegal with regards to their lease.

Like smoking cigs is in many of them in Ontario.

Those people will have to get their grass somewhere and many will not risk growing their own.

I will not be tempted again. I feel like Charlie Brown and the OCS is the girl with the football only it is my mysterious quarter of schwag that is in such a limbo they will not even answer the question I asked. Do you actually think it will ever ship....the illegal website would have delivered in 2 days.

Maybe it was the tone in the email i sent.

LOL

I just finished trimming my indoor. I am flush again and will not need any LP anything. I could go a full year on the harvest from this round. 1 pound inside and 1 pound outside with 1 plant to go. At least I know what to give my friends for Christmas !

It is nice to be in a position where it doesn't matter that the OCS order i placed will arrive at Christmas...maybe. I think the proper solution is to allow a license for growing to supplement store fronts and allow the store front to buy the cannabis they want to buy. Regulate the allowable ferts and such and then consumers can go to the organic cannabis store etc.

But maybe that would crush the money machine that they are producing.

I like that idea and I think it would be a better plan than what is in place. Customers will not be happy buying irradiated shwaggs from LP's like Tweed or Aphria. Based on complaints, they should be able to drop LP's that their customers don't like, as any store would in other markets.

Yeah, and they want to charge people who don't buy their cannabis from them. That's insane.

Totally agree. I wonder if they're under contract? Smart for the LP beyond dumb for the province if they are.

They're all in cahoots together...it's just forcing people to buy the crap....like insurance will cover it as long as you're using the legal supply..can see that coming down the pipe....big circle jerk....

I want to know what's going to happen to all the LPs who screwed over their medical patients by running out of products they need in order to cater the the recreational market.

Funny, thousands of hours spent on "public safety" and yet not a second of it was spent on ensuring the safety of medical users via ensuring their medical needs weren't sacrificed for recreation profits.

I hope the LPs and Canadian federal government get hit with class action lawsuits.

Well they don't see it as medicine....you're not going to die if you run out of pot!...you may (you may not) have some untoward side effects, so why should they concern themselves with that?....this about money only....not people and their health.

Well, sucks to be them because the government is legally obligated to provide us with adequate access, and they lobbied for that responsibilty.

I'm not surprised, though. They claim x number of patients, but never mention how of them have ordered again after they got a legal container. I'd be willing to wager a large percentage of the registered patients don't order regularly from the LPs, if at all, for a variety of reason, namely that they are registered for the legal protection it provides, not so they can order glorified hay sprayed with banned pesticides...and they still don't have a steady supply.

Nah, most LPs are in the commodities business. It's all about appearances and the sales pitch. They probably wouldn't know and wouldn't care if a pound of the next cup winner landed on their head.

My buddy who has his ACMPR but not to grow is registered with an LP but never buys from them. Why bother? He just keeps his container from the LP and calls one of the million delivery services in SW Ontario to buy weed. They offer an updated menu and the prices are cheaper, the quality is higher... and you don't have to wait.. it is delivered in a timely manner. Not to mention that once you register with an LP you are stuck with them and have to do this whole hassle with paperwork and doctors note to switch to a different one.. The LP/legal system has priced themselves right out of the game from day one.. I don't get how they didn't see this coming. Or claim not to have.
