hey everyone

i have been wondering if you can use a cloner bucket system and then transplant into soil i have been doing research but have not been able to find any resaults i myself would say you can without problems but i would like to know if anybody on here has done this and had good resaults i would go for a whole hudro setup but im restricted to a low budget grow so soil is the best way for me to go

the system includes
5gal bucket
8 site lid
foam incerts
pump manafold stem and sprayer

any advice that could be givven would be great

they will be stressed from getting their food from water and then soil, IMO not a good idea. I have started clones in buckets and transplanted when roots started to show

i was planning on transplant once i noticed a little ball of roots instead of waiting untill theyhave long roots would that be easier on them

also im baseing this on a idea not sure if i want to do i or not but it would be good for me instead of waiting 3 weeks to get roots in peat pellets or i have herd that you can use rockwool cubes for clones then plant in soil but i have searched and i dont know if that would be good or not

I've used a clone bucket and have transplanted to soil many times with out any problems. I prefer that my aero cloned girls go to soil, because I don't like the loose anchor of them being in hydroton without a root plug. Although it wouldn't be hard to slice one and put it above the roots. Lately I've been just using plugs though since I only have a 6 spot cloner.

Also if you have clean perlite you could spread it around the roots to lighten the shock. And water with 4ml/gal noshock!

the bucket system is 8 site aeroponics
so to reduce the shock jus spread pearlite in the area im going to place the clone

anouther question - how good are grow bags with draining been thinking of useing them or should i just stick with nursery pots

I use bags, they are working great with roots organic. I'm test driving some smart bags right now though, only to try for the best root sytem if the air pruning actually works like they say. If you do use the perlite around the roots, make sure it doesn't have ferts in it like MG does.

the pearlit doesnt have nutes but the soil im going to be useing is happy frog and its got all kinds of good nutes in it
