12/12 perpetual grow: (this is an example)

say you germ then plant 1 seed every two weeks until you reach a total of 4 plants in your grow space.

assuming you planted only 8 wk strains that would mean eventually you would chop one plant down every 2 weeks as well as plant a new one every two weeks.

your lights would ALWAYS be on 12/12 (never in veg. flowering time ONLY).

make sense?

what I would do is have 4 plants budding at any given time starting a new plant in rotation every 15 days. however if you have no mother you are looking @ 4-6 months just to get rolling

i agree as well. its simple (if height is an issue) just run your lights 24/0 for the first two wks (to keep the nodes close as possible) then flip to 12/12.

most people go 12/12 from seed and wonder why their plants stretch so much (especially when height is a concern) people tend to forget a plant can not flower immediately from seed. it must veg for a min of 1.5-2wks on avg (some take longer)

If you do it that way, you can't run multiple generations under the same light.

very true. however if height is really an issue its the best solution imo. going 12/12 from seed causes too much stretching imo. a way around it would be a separate area/cab for clones/mothers and go 12/12 from clone. that would be probably the way to keep the plants the shortest. if you're just working with one grow space (like most people) then going 24/0 for 2 wks then to 12/12 is probably the best way to keep them as short as possible...growing 100% indicas is another way but that would get old to me.

if height is an issue you can always LST, TOP/FIM, SUPERCROP, SCROG, etc too.
