Pop star and infamous drug abuser Amy Winehouse was found dead at her London home today.

"Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained."

Amy Crackhouse is dead.

She threw her career away.

The only surprise is that her untimely passing had not happened already.

in fairness Carne Saca ...They tried to make her go to rehab but she said no, no, no.....sorry that was evil....hope her death can help others

This is really going to help with the 'dead pool' I've got going with some friends... That's 73 points!

It's a contest (usually lasting one year) where a group of people get together and put together a list of celebrities (we use 10 each, and no person can be listed twice) who they are predicting to die that year. When someone on the list dies, the person who had the dead person as a pick gets X points (where X is 100 - age). That person then chooses another person to put on the their list. Trades can be negotiated, and paid for with points already earned. I've also heard of people starting off the pool 100 points to allow for better trading.
