Amsterdam Grow House(s)

Hi
Im looking to move to the Netherlands in the very near future, after a massive change in circumstances, and wonder if any of you know how I could go about getting a job in a grow house?

Does anyone know of any websites or has anyone done this before??

Perhaps there is someone reading this from amsterdam who needs a reliable and knowledgable plantsman for their team???

Any help or advice please... I gotta get out there!!

You probably won't find any such public listings. I believe it's illegal to grow more than 6 plants there. Maybe get in good with some shop owners? Only thing I can think of.

Well immigration laws in the Netherlands are very strict unless you have lots of cash it is very hard to live there legally. You won't be getting a job in a grow house but it's worth a visit to talk to coffee shop owners about it not to mention the bad ass bud. If you have enough cash just rent an apartment and build you own set-up, you can sell to the local coffee shops.:mrgreen: It is a very cool place but aside from the bud I don't know if I would want to live there. What about growing in Cali?
 
That's got to be everyone's dream, right? At least everybody on RIU. To own a coffee shop in A'dam. Maybe live on a houseboat...

I wonder what the set up costs are?

Im English so I can live there with my european passport I guess I just need to get my ass out there and use my unique stoner charm to get a job.

I know there are loads of massive grow gardens/greenhouses beyond belief if you havent seen them. Thousands of plants.

I love the 'Dam...been there 9 times on holiday.

i jus got back today from 4 days in the dam, been to all the above coffeeshops, wow 3rd time over this year and the bud gets better, i wouldnt live in amsterdam its a very dirty city with lots of dirty dodgy people, only gd thing is the weed otherwise its a dump.

Edit: More to the point, the HASH is always better but the bud isnt that different then what is available commercially in cali (some would argue worse)
unless your dealing with a coffee shop that is bud focused as opposed to commerically focused.

Funny I thought that compared to alot of European cities, London, anywhere in italy, barcelona, madrid, These places were all covered in cigarette buts and trash. Amsterdam is a clean city by comparison, perhaps you just didnt make it out of the drug section with baggies everywhere...tragic.

Anyway...and im suprised all these people who have been there dont know, becuase I asked peopel. The biggest thing you can do to get in with the drug culture in amsterdam is learn dutch. Citizenship is a thing of the past in the EU (its not that hard to become a greek or pole compared with a german or an englishman) but the dutch hate the punk english who roll there and think they are hard.

If you learn dutch you can easily grab a job in a coffeeshop with no papers, and they will trust you, and you will overhear and meet their supply people. But the #1 thing and what most people forget is YOU NEED TO LEARN REALLY GOOD DUTCH
 
THX speedhabit, I guess that saves me going there (being a punk english myself) and getting laughed at...to learn dutch then!
 
i was just there like 3 weeks ago and it was awesome and the people are really nice. best bud i smoked while there was power haze. it put one of my friends on his ass.
 
Where are all the inside pics? Do they not let you do that? The only pics I have seen from the inside of coffee shops there were like on the High Times Cannibis Cup DVD. I really want to see the insides of these places. I want to go there now that I am out of bed and feel better and all...
