Something about some Canadians that has amused me is I frequent a few sites where hockey is discussed. Last year, and before, I saw some Canadian members absolutely shred the Atlanta Thrashers, saying they were the absolute worst, even after becoming Chicago-South. But as soon as the Atlanta Thrashers were going to move to Winnipeg, and since the move, the very same Canadian members of the sites have bragged about how great the renamed Atlanta Thrashers are and how they will make it into the playoffs and maybe even win Lord Stanley's Cup.
It shows a tremendous national bias on the part of some Canadians since the Winnipeg Jets did not make wholesale changes that greatly improved the old Atlanta Thrashers. It is still the Atlanta Thrashers team that the same Canadians said were the worst in the NHL, until they became a Canadian team and then they suddenly magically and mystically transformed into almost guaranteed champions.
