Amazon buying, safe? Or raise red flags?

Most of the time...

Are you on parole? Multiple indictments? Do people constantly file complaints against you? Do you get into fights with your lover. Are you a mafia associate? Do you rob people for a living? Are you under house arrest and wearing a bracelet?

Ask yourself a few questions, then order.
good point

Not too thrilled with eBay, bought a ton of nutes for my first grow and I have all the sellers leaving me positive feedback, they all have the words hydro or garden or watt in their name, it's killing me. I have items for sale and I know people are checking my feedback for my seller history and then glancing over at the buyer history like hmm, interrrrresting

Another person who buys pretty much everything on Amazon checking in...

As mentioned, nobody cares, save some fringe situations. I have most of my supplies shipped to a locker near my work... then bring them into work past security. Almost everything bought for "growing" has legitimate gardening use, even cannabis-specific products like AN.

Personally, I care. I can't afford to be raising any eyebrows. My life savings is on the line

That's good for you.

OP's question was directed towards gardening supplies raising eyebrows. I will admit that I took extra caution to be here when my grow tent arrived, but the beauty of Amazon is that the vast majority of the stuff is in plain-colored brown boxes. Even the majority of third party stuff has been indiscriminately disguised, esp with the Prime tape. It all looks the same.

I'm switching to Amazon myself to avoid the comments from sellers on eBay.
