Am i too lat or right on time-plants showing pollen sacs

Hey guys what up. I hope some one can give me an assist, i have five indica plants in their 7th weeks of flower, well the other day i noticed that one of them had a yellow bananna sticking out(pollen sac), but i didn't find any more on that plant or on any of the others. Now is it true that when a female plant starts to make pollen it is pretty much done, also does that mean that the others are also done because they were all put out at the same time, checked the trichs mostly somewhat cloudy, and about 70-75% of the hairs are brown, so hey anybody got any advice, i'm open. Just dont want to fuck around and let them keep going for too much longer and risk the other plants in my room.
Thanks a million.

Peace!

Do you think it may be because they are bagseed? Should i cut 'em down? Really ,honestly i'm not sure what you mean by unstable genetics.

there are some hermy traits in there somewhere. not to big a deal at 7 weeks. it's common. if you can pick them out then let it go. if they are everywhere then it's kinda a personal choice. i went one go recently. i has premature whites soft seeds and little yellow flowers in it. it's hella good though. i wouldn't smoke it with friends out of embarrassment, but late at night or when i'm alone bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie

I would go ahead and harvest that one anyhow if the trychs look good. Leave the others go a bit but, keep under close observation for any more sacks.

Hey Zen... I think fdd2blk means that the bagseed or any seed resulting of cross pollination that has not been stablized through careful selection has flaws in its genetics. one or both of the parent plants have undesirable genes that caused this to occur... I have done alot of reading and I would not clone that plant... IMHO... Since you are so close to finishing, carefully inspect your plants as much as possible, remove the "balls", so your sensi doesn't get pollinated and if more start to appear pull them off too... I think you can make it, but I wouldn't try to clone or regen that plant... good luck

If I'm not mistaken bagbeans are from hermis in the grow, so the traits are there... I even had one guy tell me he puts nail polish on them to stop them from opening/pollinating... I don't know as I've never even seen a hermi, except in pics... I don't know if I'd trust that nail polish thing... I guess it depends at how many plants at risk...

i guess they can go for at least another week because i didn't see any more hanging around.
And as far as the late night toking on your "almost" pregnant girl, i secind that emotion!

hey dude that's good to know. Thanks because i have five clones from those plants in my veg cab right now, and when its time to flower i dont want to screw up and not catch them in time. Its only a decent smoke so it really wont be that hard to get rid of them. For one i'm running like three other strians so i dont want any unplanned pregnacies, and plus since i use coco coir it will save me a couple of bucks(works great, but not that cheap) because thats five less babies i have to feed. So thanks again

i think i'll give 'em a week. Because i do have quite a few others at risk. 18 of them to be exact.
AND AS FAR AS THE NAIL POLISH TECHNIQUE..............DONT THINK I TRUST IT EITHER.

i had the same problem. 3 of 10 flowering plants had pollen sacks/bananas on them 4 weeks into flowering. 1 plant was a kush, but the seed came from a friend who found it in the kush he just grew. so i knew there was a strong likelyhood that it would be hermie. the other 2 are from bag seed. i believe most commercial bag seed comes from hermies that the grower missed. they kill all the males but if a hermie pops up the whole crop can be seeded, especially outside where insects help pollinate. out of 10 bagseeds you should probably expect a few hermies. they are passing defective genetics.

i just picked mine off and now i inspect each plant top to bottom everyday to make sure no more pop up. the damage is done. anything that may have gotten pollinated is already pollenated. as long as you catch the pollen sacks before the bananas open up it wont get worse.

i did have a couple come back a few days later, but no more in the last few weeks. whats weird is they were on the same branches as the first ones. leads me to believe that maybe just that branch is a hermie? i should take a clone from the other side of the plant and see if it comes out hermie or if it hermies. just check em daily and remove any new oned that pop up.

did you label your clones? so you know which ones are from the hermie - if so definately kill the hermies. i only labeled my plants by kush and bagseed, not by individual plant. so i dont know which kush plants are herms and what bagseeds are herms. lesson learned the hard way! the clones are for friends anyways- next grow will be seed bank seeds for sure.
