Am I sacrificing weight by flushing???

if plants pack on a lot of weight in the last weeks why would i deprive them of food?
im growing nirvana white widow and they are starting to explode on day 50 should i be flushing at all?

The flush will make the plant use up all the nutes in her system it will still get bigger, and the taste and burn is way better, It may make you customers happier.

its good to get at least 3 days of just water.

Drying the plants sacrifices weight too

,,,why would u not give the "people" ure growing for high grade,,,,especially if your names behind it and they no u grew it,,,and its HEALTHY to flush your ishen plant...thats the problem with the herb buisness today,,u shouldnt of really even asked yourself this seriosly...,treat ure neighbor as u want to bee...

and no flushing doesnt harm weight....not flushing harms you and the smoke

If you want to be known for quality, then yes.

I only grow for personal and some friends but if I was a comercial grower I'd want to sell a quality product rather than just make a quick buck but maybe thats just me.

i think it has a lot to do with what you are feeding them. i use fox farms and molasses right up to the last feeding. i get nice white ashes and better than that, it taste good too. i've tried it both ways and really didn't see any pros or cons. just my 2 cents.

this is the debate of growers i still cant tell if there really is any point to flushing.

my main theory for suggesting against it is that fact that the plant fixates the otherwise inorganic nutes into organic plant material. so i can see the 3 day rule but not 2 weeks for flushing.

I use nutes all the way up until the last day or 2 then I use the emergency flush method for 3 days and they always end up tasting beutiful. I find the plants love having the nutes during the last 2 weeks and they really do blow up and stack on the weight.

how you can tell if its flushed or not is if it cracks, like little pops when you hit it.
three days or more and the plant can use the nutes, plus if you have any leaves on your plant, it has food in them(the leaves)

my girls get a 2 week flush minimum to get that great taste. gotta use up all of the salts leftover in your soil and leaf matter. gluck

Two weeks for soil... Two week flush for hydro will kill the bitch. 2 to 3 day flush is good for hydro setup. U can use sweetners during flush and It tastes great.

Well, I know Clearex is mostly sugar which I believe does two things. A) It draws out the salts and B) It causes the plant to absorb sugar which adds weight to the bud.
