you actually smoke the leaves , when you trim your buds , you just trim the point of your leaves the reast of the leaves stay's in the inside of the bud .
This is why you dont want to give too much N during flowering , this is stimulate your plant to grow more leafs , and will get your very leafy buds that tend to taste bad.

if flushing did what you think it does, EVERYONE who grows would do it and there would be no arguing, like we all know 12/12 induces flowering. WHY do you think some of the best growers here tell people that flushing is stupid?
