I am trying to understand why you think hops is not a flower while every botanical article says different ? You are the only one that hasn't presented any evidence to reprimand my post. And I'm sorry if you fell I'm trying to be combative I am not.

Humulus Lupulus (hops) are the flowering cone of a perennial vining plant and a cousin of the cannabis variety (sorry no THC in this stuff) that typically thrives in climates similar to the ones that grapes do. Basically, hops put the "bitter" in beer.

well, just in case there is something bad in hops, you better not drink beer. I heard a guy got liver disease from drinking beer made from unflushed hops.

What I said, 3 times now, is that we don't allow the bract to flower. A bract is NOT A FLOWER. And I am almost sure, that is the same way they raise hops.

So, what is so difficult? Why do I have to keep repeating myself?

commercial farmers leach their soil to remove years of built up salts. They don't flush the crop 2 weeks before harvest.

No one flushes for a reason that I understand.

Many jump off the golden gate bridge for no reason that understand.

But, Commercial Cannabis?

They are required to go with the wives tales, if they want the money.

Let's use this analogy with relative species. Corn ,Milo, Sorghum, Grass are all related but different.

That is all I have for you.

And if you consider RM3 post with using boiling water is also eliminating nutrient uptake from the roots. That could be considered a flush even though it's 3-5 days.
