get out a microscope and check out the trichomes

sativas can take 12-14 weeks to flower, more commonly in the tropical ones

and some take less

but what you're looking for is a lot of amber, about 30-50%

the rest milky

for a nice balanced high from a sativa

i don't see any amber yet, but it's hit or miss with the unaided eye

If you have a Northern Hydraulics store nearby ( or online ), get a set of jewelers loupes ( they attach to a pair of glasses. If you don't wear glasses, go to the Dollar Tree and buy a pair with clear glass in them ). The loupes are 3.99........you won't regret it. $5 solution to your problem.

Thanks ill check around online for some thing like that. i found usb microscopes on amazon for 49 dollars. but made in china. I want something made in Canada or the USA.
chinese electronics are actually pretty good.

china's bad rap comes from their tendency to produce a lot of counterfeit products (made from inferior materials), because of different laws

also cheap stuff for dollar stores

chinese stuff tends to just break easier, but typically does what it says it can

You're nowhere near is my guess, though is hard to tell from those pics. I wouldn't even worry about trichs yet, although you might as well get the loupe for when you are ready...in another 3-4 weeks maybe.

^^^ I would have to agree you got a while to go or your not going to harvest to full potential, Giv it another 3-4 weeks it is definiatly worth it even though you have to wait longer for your smoke:wall:

Size could be double? uhh... thinking no.

The buds look nice, only way to know for sure is by looking at the resin glands (trichomes) and making sure they are milky white to amber in the tips.

IF the tips of the resin glands (look like mushrooms) are CLEAR then it is too early. If they are MILKY then you're good, if they are AMBER they are very ripe--- almost over ripe.
