Okay so i have this indica here not sure of strain it was bagseed. My goal is to keep it as short as possible with the greatest yield. The fan leaves were so wide that i had to take them off and i really didnt want to as ive read it aint really good but neither is no light. Its 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. Ive been tying limbs back to open up more light and try to control the plants overall growth. This is the first plant of any kind ive ever grown so i could use some tips. Lmk what you think so far and maybe any pointers.

IMO - Don't worry that much about light... Light is very important for regular growth, however the plant is getting all the light it needs with those leaves still on it... I'd leave the leaves in place and pull the middle finger of each leaf off to let in more light... This is a White Widow I'm about to harvest - There are some middle leaves taken on this plant late in flowering...

If you're tripping on the nice indoor cola size it's due to to good feeding and a lot of light - 6.5K in a 8X24 space.
Have fun!

Beautiful! Ive heard ww is probably the most crystallized bud out there. I wish i had the space to let mine get that big. Im in a closet. Im trying to keep mine around 32" H 32W. With that being said ive heard they 2x sometimes 3x after the flip so when would be a good time to do it? I hear guys thats going for the same outcome all the time saying i shouldn't vegged to long or damn i shouldve lst earlier. I dont wanna be that guy lol . Im really just messing around with this one as a learning curve to accomplish what i want. I just started some NL & Aurora seeds that i ordered so there really what im training for. When would you flip if you were me?

You've got plenty of light then.

You could probably go another month in vegetation if she's well under half the available height. Or until she's a little bigger at least.

Keep in mind you need at least half a foot of space between your canopy and the light source. Easiest way to find out the minimum distance you can hang the light- is to hold the back of your hand under it at full tilt. And find the point where you don't notice the heat from the lamps too much.

Basically if it's really warm on your hand. It's probably too close for the plant.

Don't go nuts on the water. Lift the pot. If it feels light. Or the plant is starting to droop. It needs a drink/feed.

If starting nutrients. Always start with a small dose and work your way up. Too much, too soon can burn and or kill your plants.

Thanks! I got most of my clones from StrainBank out of San Diego... The WW is best known for it's THC count which is in the higher THC count for most strains out there - I got this info on WW from "WikiLeaf":
This strain has an average THC composition of 20%, with some phenotypes exceeding that amount.

Buds of White Widow are chunky and somewhat conical and tapered. The bud structure of the flowers are more sativa than indica, with a loose and fluffy texture that can be broken up somewhat easily despite its stickiness. The leaves are spring green with few visible pistils.

Interesting you mentioned NL... I have a mother of NL that I got from some serious growers in Northern CA - It's one of 5 strains I carry that I don't really know if it's legitimate or not... In the past I quite often had nice strains of herb that didn't match up with strain reviews. So here is what I'm now slowly harvesting. It came in second place in the frost division behind Afghani.

Northern Lights? Maybe, but after checking strain reviews it doesn't look like a match... In any event it's kick butt herb or I wouldn't keep in around...
