Also hit this before you go get all busy and shit *passes :joint: to alto* yay :P Lmfao I'm soo tempted to start growing again, its just like all I gotta do, is throw the seed in my germ process, So easy to start again!! ARG! Its soo hard to stop myself from doing so tho lol. This lawyer needs to hurry up :)
 
whats up alto? quick question, what light are you using now in 12/12? about how much heat does it put out roughly 6-12 inches from the bulb(s)?

I am using a 400W HPS (EYE Hortilux "super" bulb) has added blue light spectrum.
It stays about 10" from tops of most plants
I have no idea about heat as I have an air cooled housing that is sealed and constant air is pumped thru it to the outdoors via a carbon filter.

NOTES

  1. Emily turns out is not Hermie, I have decided to get some REVERSE anyway and try it by the directions next grow. (first day of 12/12 then again 10 days later). All yellow leaves were removed after this picture and she was thoroughly inspected for any more balls. Reverse treatment will commence after work tomorrow. She has absolutely no discernible smell. Could she be Jack Herer?
  2. Mona is showing a ton of promise. She has a slightly skunky sweet smell about her and seems to have her nodes just slightly less apart than Emily. All yellowing leaves were removed before replacing her into the grow operation. She was thoroughly inspected and no "balls" were found.
  3. Sandi is slowly becoming my favorite plant now. She is the smallest (shortest) of all the girls and has no noticeable smell. Bud sites are thicker than some of the others and are starting to even grow up into the next node right at the top. All the yellowing leaves were removed and she was thoroughly inspected for hermie traits.
  4. Jessica is the only plant that I left without any attempt at LST. She is Grenadine from Dr Greenthumbs which is going to be the complete grow next time out. Nothing was done after the picture other than a thorough search for any male sex parts.
  5. No4 who still is unnamed, is probably going to be the biggest producer. She is the plant that was accidentally topped during an over ambitious LST session. (kinda more like a ST session, lol) yellow leaves were removed and she was thoroughly searched for any signs of Hermi. No4 has the strongest odor of all the plants that is skunky yet a baby poop smell as well. basically pretty stinky, but does not stink up the OP, unless you touch the buds and then you can smell her quite plainly.
  6. BALLThis is an edit actually but a shot of what I as a first time grower thought was the beginning of a hermi plant. Had me quite worried. Then found the one pictured that was a bit older than the one that scared me and lo and behold, it had white hairs coming from it an actually buddage.:joint: what a noob. Anyway I highlighted the thing in a very poor image but you can see the hairs with a magnifying glass trust me I want to take no chances now.

In my own defense I have to say it is odd. there are several of these appearing on Emily and are not really attached to anything else. Just popping out of the main stem (trunk) of the plant sorta near leaf nodes. I guess I really expected the flowering parts to stay all bunched up and in tight clusters. these guys were solo out by themselves. Anyway none of the other plants are doing that so IDK what to think of it actually.

Although you can not see them all the plants have nice clean white roots coming from their pots. (as shown on No4)

I will be getting Reverse after work tomorrow at a second Hydro Shop as the one I use does not stock it.
(this is just a test)
Next grow I will be using it on all my girls as directed by Dutch Master. It makes sense scientifically that it should do as it is reported to by stunting the male hormones in the plant.

Thats it for now...I wanted to put them in the sun and take these photos, however neighbors were in their pool and so that became impossible.
I will do this again as soon as I change reservoir again.

Added KoolBloom as a Bud Booster.

I feel so absolutely stupid.
Today after I posted the images I looked again at Emily and saw another two “balls”
However these balls that looked exactly the same as the others I got so concerned about
had long white hairs coming from them and as it turns out I panicked over what could be nothing. Lmao
I am such a noob.
Anyway I will still buy the Reverse and have it on hand should I have been right the first time.
I will photograph the “balls” tomorrow.

yes the photos will be better from now on thanks to actually reading the instruction manual. I am a real photographer (light meters and sheet film, the works) but this video photography (digital cameras) as new to me somewhat. Looks pretty good now tho.

Yeah Sony L3 in color balance I was switching between sunset and fluorescent trying to find the best one and lo and behold there is a feature where you point it at the subject and press a button and it adjusts itself so that it will compensate for weird lighting cool eh?
The "strains" I am growing out are unknown, however I do know what was in the Mega Mix pack of seeds I bought. 1-Shiva Shanti, 2-Jack Herer, 3-Bigbud, 4-Mazar, 5-Northern Lights, 6-Sweettooth #3
they were not labeled so whatever?
I do know that Jessica (formerly N07) is Grenadine from Dr Greenthumb
That is what I will be growing next time, all from that strain.
Next spring I will be growing a subcool strain but not sure what one yet.
