Nice canopy going there bro! Good to hear you'v reached flowering! I need to get mine into 12/12 asap! Shame about the ignitor although i dont think the 24 of dark will do them much harm at this point. Keep up the good work!
Power in my area went out last night for about 6 or 7 hours
good thing it was the dark part of the 12/12

GP
yea I was going to do 24 hrs dark in between anyway
seed breeder recommended that

I am doing well mmclean
now that I have these issues sorted
I will give a full update tonight

mixed up some bloom nutes that I will use to top off the reservoir
alternating that with water on a day to day basis
depending on the PPM and such.
eventually I will have mostly bloom nutes running
will prob just dump the reservoir and swap out to bloom nutes next weekend.
Temps in my area plummeted outside so during lights out it swings about 20-30 degrees
in the grow room. I read that that is a good thing? who knows.
Meanwhile new light fixture has a warranty so I am set.

Trying to save money has each time bit me in the ass on this project
I should have plopped down the cash and got all new stuff at the beginning
If I would have any advice to someone getting into this
buy new gear and what you think you can afford, go one level higher
with what I have ended up spending trying to save some cash
I could have got top notch gear
a tri meter that is constant reading on the wall and probably a 600W HPS
live and learn I guess.
Thanks everyone for your support

. I read that that is a good thing?
yeah it is, just like in nature, during the fall, the temp usually drops a good bit at night.

havent really devoted much study to that aspect, but you can imagine, if its natural in nature(lol what a good pun) itll be good for the girls as far as flowering goes, cant say the same for vegetative though.

It may be because I switched to HPS lighting from MH and your used to seeing them in more natural light?
Dunno but they are no drier than they were...:joint:
As far as getting a pound, maybe wet it will weight something but a pound?
I doubt it will be that much.
Not that that would be a bad thing really I could skip next grow haha
Being I am not gonna sell any of it (at all really, its just for me)
That would hold my light weight ass for months!

haha just trying to look hopeful
Please remain hopeful!
:weed:

OK lights are off so I will go do an update later this morning
Checked in last night and all was very well.
added about 2 qts of water to reservoir
Sorry about missing an update proper yesterday but not much changed
I used to go in at like 5am before work, but the way things worked out the lights will be off at that time
so I will be updating after work now instead.
also there was no electricity yesterday here at that time so I kinda
got caught up in gathering the large branches from my yard the storm gifted me with.
I have some very large and old pine trees near my house.
Winds were wicked the night before last.
The kids are reaching puberty I guess as some are starting to show me their pistolas!
Yay!
I will post pictures later and you can help me figure out who is what
not really good at this part yet so I will be hopefully getting some help from you all.
Full update later today.

im very interested in you're grow man
reason:
1.) i am going to go hydroponic on my next grow.
2.) you're grow journal is very detailed.
Well anything you can get from it you are completely welcome to
I intend to keep it just as detailed as I can right to the end.

The best advice I can give anyone is to buy NEW gear instead of used stuff on ebay
and instead of spending the money on a fancy set up
you are better off building one for a lot less, just buying the pumps/timers/airstones you need.

I will be going into detail as I am going to build a ebb & flow set up for flowering soon.
(I won't use it on this grow, but next one for sure, and will be building it in this journal)

I ended up with 2 400W HPS (I can get the one I was using fixed) and I have the new one I bought to replace it when it broke so
I will move the set-up I am using now (DWC/WICK bubbler) to veg only
then pull the pots and place in the ebb-n-flow for flowering.
The one I build will include drawings so anyone can copy it for themselves.

Number one most important thing you can spend money on for hydro is quality meters.
both PH and TDS

Glad you have an interest Jason as I have been watching your grow and you do so well.
I hope there is stuff here than can help you bro.
Taking a page from the old hands at this with the less is more attitude
and just gonna grow weed without all the fancy mysteries from now on
(thanks for getting me straight Eddie)
Update coming as soon as I get home.

you seem to have a lot of knowledge about it
I did some study but it will definitely be a learn more as I go project.
a little searching in various places for parts etc before I will be ready to build.
Basically I want to buy a few more pots for the Emily's Garden I have and use that to veg. Then be able to move the pots into a tray to use as ebb&flow while I veg clones in the bubbler and keep a cycle going.
more on that as I get closer to the actual building of it.

Notes:
Seems like in most cases it is too early to tell sex
I posted images of areas that I think I may see pre-flowers
Maybe someone looking in can say for sure
For now I will do nothing and just watch a few more days to be sure
I think I see balls on No3
The rest are what I can see, but as I said I am unsure about this part.
Anyway I am excited to continue watching for now and god willing
I won’t have to ditch too many of them.

More images tomorrow. Its kinda late after a long day today at work.:peace:
As soon as I see anything certain I will remove from reservoir and take some good images to document.
No 4-6-7 can be seen in the overall but no real signs of anything showing yet.
Don't worry you all will know as soon as I do :)
4 probably because I popped its head off is slower and if you remember 6-7 were the twins and about 4-5 days (or so) behind the pack.
