May have figured out the culprit. The fabric pots were sitting in a saucer with river rock to elevate the pot out of run off. Good in theory but appears that there were wet spots in the rocks enough to allow roots that penetrated the pot to absorb it. No more rocks.

That is 10 inch root. There were a few small spikes stiking through that were feathered as well.

Running into the same issue again which looks like over watering. Why does this have to be so fucking difficult. IT"S A FUCKING PLANT! Am I suppose to use a dropper bottle to water, like seriously what the fuck. I am not sure I can water any fucking less than what I am. I am ready to rip this shit out and start again, they are so behind now. They have not done shit in days, they have not looked good since Friday. I give mad props to you boys and gals that can grow these fucking things, I clearly do not have the skill set for this. I leave it alone and shit goes bad. I fuck with them and shit goes bad. I am so frustrated.

I struggle to grow in soil which is the easiest. I can’t imagine even attempting coco at this point. None of this makes any sense to me. Watering a 3 gallon smart pot once a week with a single solo cup of water for each plant has made the soil soaked. Soaked beyond soaked and this grow I added a shit load of perlite. So now I will go to 1 solo cup every two weeks as one a week is way too much. Although I think I am just wasting power and time now with these as they are pretty fucked up and curled.

Other way around amigo. Coco is way easier than soil. Soil attracts mote pests than coco can and soil is so easily overwatered than coco. The huge difference is soil comes with god knows what and amounts of it and coco you know exactly what nutes and amounts go in. Hope you find out whats bothering youte plants either way.

I know what the issue is, over watering. It just blows my mind that I read people adding a gallon of water to a 3 gallon pot every 3-4 days. I add 1 solo cup a week and its over watered. I must have the most rententious soil in human history. I haven’t watered since last Thursday. We are approaching a week now.

They were destroyed. They weren’t coming back. Tried to save them, but no hope. Trying to determine which direction I want to go. I think I am done with autos.
