I have been reading up on CO2, iam going to get a tank and regulator, my question are,
I have a L5*H6*W4 room, what size tank would be the best??
Is it best to flow the CO2 when lights r on, or off????
And CO2 heavier then air ! , would it be a good idea to build something like a painters pallet( but alot larger) for my pails to sit in, so no CO2 is wasted mellowing on the ground, I have a access to BLUESKIN vapor barrier witch iam covering all the walls and also the (pallet) , if its a good idea, and yes i have already thoght of ventilation.
An last, when the light r off, should i try to keep the room quiet with eveything on low?? or it doestent matter just as long as the enviroment is kept good, THANKS ALOT, i have been looking for anwser for these for a long time now,

Co2 on when lights are on
Co2 is heavier than air (sinks)
a 20lbs tank will do
Vapor barrior, I have no idea why but if you need it it couldn't hurt(guessing)
Quiet? Plants actually are healthier in a loud noisy enviorment such as loud music with heavy bass is good for them. Talking to them singing to them all good to. (Adds Co2 as well)
keep er clean

what u want to do is set up your co2 system to where u have a burst at the beggining of the light cycle and one toward the end

is the CO2 most useful at the flowering stage??? all all throuout the grow process???

Ya know. So is HCFC. (I have a HVAC license ) So, I'm a bit perplexed, if these sink, how are they 'greenhouse' gases?

Good question. Here's my guesses: Any gas with carbon in it counts as a greenhouse gas. The weather mixes shit up, and gravity is lower in the upper atmosphere so some of it stays up there. Heat trapping can take place at ground level too.

But it has to get up there! LOL

Either way, CO2 on the plants is good. PLus it makes the nasty greenhouse gas a friendly 'green' gas.

Anywho back to topic at hand.....

Its good for veggie too, CO2 + Light +water = plant food in a nutshell
No CO2, no photosynthesis. No photosynthesis no growth.

Interesting. Looks like I am in good shape in this case! I was thinking of making a veg cab in an old bass cabinet. Maybe I'll just play bass through it at the same time.

(ok HCFC breaks down rather quickly CFCs are a bit different)

Didn't mean to hijack thread.

Wind does it all. Just like sailors used trade winds so to speak gases rise in our atmosphere with the wind, creating green house gases as they particulate in our upper atmosphere. Winds carry seeds thousands of miles accrossed oceans with no help by man. A gas surly would be no obstacle!
